SA Un-Modded Video Releases / [GTAS.de] PARABELLUM'S SORROW
« on: July 03, 2010, 02:08:35 AM »

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Heyho GTAS, I'm happy to finally release the third community video of gtastunting.de. It has been a really long time since our last community project, but we managed to come up with something now. I am sorry for the big delay, but it wasn't really my fault. You know who you rather blame. Also sorry that some stunts became old, but that is a part of such huge projects I think, cuz of the long editing phases.

During the editing many problems caused setbacks. Such as SentitneS & ICy dropping their work, they were supposed to edit the intro (ICy) and outro (SentitneS). So more and more work got on my back, at the end 200/250 GB of my HDD were filled up with stuff of this project. I also had some massive rendering problems, but somehow managed to get it done after MANY hours of rendering and a lot of frustration. I am really happy to finally finish this project.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well what else to say about the editing? Overall I am satisfied with the suff I did. I tried to really keep it simple this time. I can't really add such an amount of crazy effects up on a video which represents the whole german speaking community here. I noticed some specific effects made Vegas going to crash on the renderings, so I had to delete the 3D track motion I did on the transition from SnowMan's to Requiem's stunt for example. Also it was pretty annoying to render everything twice all the time to kinda fake this Windows7 look on the border's background. Could have been done on one render aswell, but it was easier this way. On the border's bottom is the town listed the current stunter comes from. Don't wonder about places like London or Sopron for example, signing up requirement was simply to speak german fluently. I hope I didn't forgot to include any stunter in the video or accidently made typing mistakes, used wrong fonts or so. If I did I am sorry for and I hope you got comprehension since it can happen easily on such big projects.

After ICy let down the intro thing, I had to find another scripter who could handle the idea. gtasearcher agreed on doing it, but I hadn't seen him for some days and kinda had time pressure, so I asked PtRvY. He agreed to and tried his best with his knowhow. It didn't turn out totally perfect, but the main things are right. Also I noticed some audio recording of Rushness was missing, but since he didn't respond on MSN and per PM I just dealed with leaving out that little one. Also the video contains lags on specific parts which occur on some effects with the setted bitrate I think. I couldn't arse me to render that whole thing over again with more to probably solve it a bit. Also it was already such a pain to upload these ~500 MB with my crappy 15kb/s upload I had. Took me around 10 hours and it would have been a lot more when I'd have used a higher bitrate. Please do not complain about these things, on such a big video many things can go wrong and these sadly did, so I am sorry for. Nothing is perfect anyway.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The intro actually is a little bit history related. The Parabellum-pistol (aka "Luger") got used in the world wars by the germans a lot. Shame I couldn't find a .dff model for SA to make it fitting it. Instead a stock pistol got used. It is supposed to symbolise some kinda apology through the video's story. Like fightig is useless and just causes shit as you'll see in this story. Anoobis also made a little parody of some well known dude of the german history with the word "raid" as you will hear.

This special Parabellum's bullet misses that aiming guy and heads along the building, what actually turns out in a quandary. I don't wanna spoil too much now, you'll see.

Gotta apologise to Xeno, I couldn't add your clothes to the player.img, otherwise SnowMan for example also would have had the cap you're using since it is the same model. So your CJ is stock and doesn't look like your Fred Durst guy lol.

There will be only a HQ version available. YouTube streaming is coming by Anoobis soon, so keep on waiting or download. I splitted the download version into 3 parts, since I didn't wanna upload ~500 MB straihly. Specially not now cuz I got a little problem with my LAN cable and probably would have had to start all over again when it crashes for once.

GTA Modding / Tack's Green Screen Hangar
« on: February 01, 2010, 07:20:23 AM »
Heyhey, I gotta lil request. I remember Tack made a public green screen texture for the huge plane hangar on the LV airport (where the AT400 is in). For some upcoming editing I could need it, so I am asking if anybody still has it or at least could tell me the .txd file's name. I'd paint it myself then instead. I know SanAnStudios also got a green screen mod, but I prefere Tack's. Thx if anybody gets/still knows what I'm talking about. I'm appreciating any replys. :jajaja:

SA Un-Modded Video Releases / Dreamscape
« on: January 09, 2010, 05:34:27 AM »

Heyhey people,
I wanna present you an SA Infernus duo by PrzemOO and me. We've been working on the video quite long and had some great fun doing it. At the end of the making of phase our mood went down a bit and we became pretty lazy and couldn't even replace stunts we lost during the progress. So we thought about just releasing it quickly to have it over and not to lose anymore stunts. We are also proud to have an awesome Infernus stunter as guest in, Mewka.

I wasn't supposed to be the editor, but arsed me then to have it out kinda quick. So I made a fast ~1 week - like job on it. It turned out quite good for such an unusual editing proportion. So yea I'm saying I'm satisfied with it, specially with the CC. Greatest I made so far imo even if I know people might dislike the white diffusion amount. I had some rendering & uploading problems as always... Every .wmv version below 10-12 Mbps lagged at some parts. I had no time to solve it, so I just switched over to .mp4 for this. I'm actually a bit surprised from the quality:filesize proportion. MQ & HQ versions are already available below, XQ one may will follow later. We gave a shit about any outro so we'd like to thank at least a few people in the topic:

Mewka - for guesting with a nice stunt.
BumsNudl - for uploading help.
PrzemOO <-> Rusch69 - for this great cooperation. <3
Xeno - for his stupid request yesterday.
SS, BT & WH - for being our crews.
You - for watching.

Video Editing Tutorials / R69 SA CC Template
« on: November 23, 2009, 03:52:38 AM »

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Introduction:[/u]

Heyho, since some people kept asking me stuff about color corrections I alyways wanted to do any tutorial for my actual template. I Was too lazy, but arsed myself now too. This template involves: Screen brightening, higher contrast, light tinted blue shadows, a lot of white diffusion and area darkenings. I hope you enjoy the following work and won't suggest me to change something in this, because I'm satisfied with this.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Examples:[/u]

First off I guess you should know how the results of this would look like, so here below are a two examples of how the template's look looks applied on different map areas and daytimes.

LS country at 12pm (<- Original SA look; Applied CC look ->):

LV city at 0am (<- Original SA look; Applied CC look ->):

In one of my SASL3 entries was the look also already involved:

 SASL 3 - Region 1 - Round 3 - Stevex vs. R69 - R69's entry

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Needed Software:[/u]

Sony Vegas 7.0x (or higher)
NewBlue Film Effects (plugin)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Important infos:[/u]

Only download the .rar-archive for Sony Vegas 7/8/9 if you are sure that your version can open the involved .veg-file. The template settings are involved as screenshots in the .rar-archive for Sony Vegas 9.0x, but you may don't understand all infos of the screenshots, because they are displayed in german.

It is recommended to follow the steps manually. If you want to share this tutorial somewhere, please ask me for permission even if its free and useable for everyone. This template might also fits with other games (VC, IV, NFS, CS(S), CoD, etc.), but I only tested it on NFS series.

SA Chat & Support / Removing monster stunt bonus slow motion ...
« on: October 21, 2008, 07:15:27 AM »
Hi ppl,

I've a little annoying problem at one of my current stunting spots. I use one of those monster stunt ramps to reach my planned precision landing. SA automatically turns in that slow motion highlight camera. The camera is so setted up that I can't see the landing. More than lucky to land it correctly. In SAMP and MTA that highlight camera doesn't appears.

So my question is if anyone of you ppl knows how to remove that slow motion camera. I already searched on some other GTA sites but couldn't find anything. Wouldn't it work if just that "change to slow motion camera" file gets deleted (would have to figure out which it would be and no idea wtf ... )? Or any modification to remove it somewhere or whatever? Any tricks to turn it off? Thx if anyone replys ...

Course - The way we go

Its finally out (just somehow) ... I already finished the editing a few days ago but my internet connection is too bad to even upload a high quality version without crashing. So I had to sent it to someone via ICQ (cuz it doesn't replaces the file infos at resending). Big THANKS to [USC]FearLess for helping me out here. This is just a low quality version and I'm sorry for that. I'll retry to get one with higher quality online later. Have fun at watching!

Video Editing/Compression / ENB series mod vs Sony Vegas settings
« on: August 01, 2008, 04:53:42 AM »
Vegas vs ENB[/u][/b]

My hardware is too bad to run SA with great ENB series settings. So I made a little test between Sony Vegas and ENB series mod settings.

I've recorded a simple stunt. One time with ENB and one time without. Made pics at the same position, imported them into Vegas, duplicated them and added some Vegas settings to the duplicated ones.

Looks like this:

The clip which I made with the ENB mod are bigger and longer because I hadn't constantly 30 FPS (I use the 30 FPS @ FL ON patch for recording).

I'll let you know how many FPS I got at which picture of the clip and how long the one was (I'm uploading a video). I'd like to hear some meanings of the shown picture, settings and so on. I couldn't really decide thats why I tested this.

Here is the video I was talkinh about:

SA Stunting Challenges / Rusch's Challenge #2

The challenge is so simply that I bet its old. But I have no idea about it so I'll post it for the high fps'lers. I couldn't get that close but I think its reachable cuz of the long runup. The first bridge part is a bit annoying . Hitted it often . So good luck to those which are going to try it.

IV Chat & Support / GTA IV already released ... ?!

The XBOX360 version of GTA IV is offically released?! MediaMarkt sells it since 13:30 in germany.

Sry 4 german but who can read it ... do it

*Schniff*

The text is about a guy who wanted to buy the game but the people from MediaMarkt got a call that they aren't allowd to sell it anymore. So some people had luck and got it but that guy was unlucky. He was fucking close to get it .

Some guys which I know already got it today for the XBOX360 from MediaMarkt ... I've to wait cuz I've got a PS3. I get all the time pictures from them while playing and discovering GTA IV .

Anyway just a few hours to wait. Good luck at getting it in the stores and have fun at playing this awesome game.

Hi there,

tried this spot today. I don't know if its old or possible but I just could reach ~100ft height and 400ft distance @ 35fps so I'm going to make a challenge out of it.

Maybe someone with high fps could reach it. The picture explains it.

Have fun and good luck to land that BB.

never tryed it really just the last 3 days a bit. At that spot just shit happens. Just collected some replays.

Btw: Yes I know that this spot is damn old but just made a video of those replays I got in 3 days of trying it sometimes. If I would leave it as a leftover and would release it somewhere everyone would say... 'old' like now .
