Hello! When I'm rendering a movie, after a 10-15 minutes it says I don't have enough virtual memory....and Vegas shut down. An I gotta rendering movies from parts... A part of 2 min, another part of 2, another of 1, and then I gotta unite them. I need more RAM

Sometimes these things do lie and don't I have found. For instance with 512DDr ram i can't run Photoshop because of memory problems yet i can run Vegas 5, Imageready and SA all at the same time

Windows XP lies alot, it tells me I have a penguin at my back door, when I clearly dont.
On topic, try and close hidden programs by messing about with msconfig.

what if you saved it finally and it was saved lkike at like 20 gigs because it didnt compress

I probably have more RAM than i need. i don't remember the last time i had a virtual memory problem.

1) Make sure all the files (that includes video, audio, pictures, etc.) that are in the video are in their original places from when you imported them to Vegas.
2) Make sure you have enough space on your harddrive for the video.
3) Close all other applications and programs when saving your movie.
4) I don't know too much about RAM. That could possibly be the reason why, but you'd have to check with someone more tech-savvy.

^same here.I can run both SA and Vegas 6 and still not get that message.Try this: hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete. In the taskmanager, click on the Processes tab. This will list all the processes that your comp is running. Shut down any you dont want. If youre unsure about stopping one, type it into Google and find out what it does. But whatever you do, dont delete explorer.exe or ccApp.exe, or any other process started by he system or network service. Most of these are vital to Windows running. Also, download Registry Cleaner and clear out any old
