Have you done any OC's?

You should run some stress tests to check your CPU, it might be overheating, maybe it's time to invest in a new heatsink/fan.

You should still run a stress test to see if your CPU's not having problems, if you can run a stress test for 2 hours without the PC shutting down you should be fine, otherwise it'd be smart to invest in  a fan or maybe even a new CPU, they're quite cheap nowadays.

Open the task manager, and tell us how many percent it has before launching vegas, and how many percent it has right when it crashes. :P

before lanuching vegas - 0-7%
vegas on, watching preview - 25%
vegas on, no preview - about 5%
vegas on, rendering - from 85% to 99%, usually about 95% - crashed after 5 minutes of rendering

Get SiSoftware Sandra & run a stress test for a while, see what happens.

Well, then it's pretty clear, ain't it?
Just buy a heatsink, you can get a pretty decent one for like $30. And don't forget to buy some thermal paste if you don't have any.

Alternatively, you could try rendering the vid through clean boot, not a guarantee, but it's worth a shot.

Well, i cleaned my PC only and now it works
Thanks guys (especially Determined) for your help ;) I'm going to buy a thermal paste though, but now i can get about 85°C at 25min of stress test :P

one solution: if your CPU ever reaches 99% of the process usage, you have to clean up your CPU and apply a thermal paste on it. If that didn't work buy a new CPU Fan with the heatsink of course.

You're obliged to apply the thermal paste on the CPU after cleaning it to keep the heat constant and stable.

Determined has helped you already!  :P
