Playboyz, maybe you have too little monitor for this high resolution.

It depends what size of monitor you have. For example I got quite old monitor which is 19' panorama. I can also get 1440x900. Few months ago I got new TV/Monitor to my PS3. I plug in my PC to check it and I could see the resolution 1920x1080. Probably I didnt help you with best resolution but I hope I helped to explain. :P

I'm recording at 1280x1024 with setting the Main aspect ration in pan/crop on No and rendering to 1280x720.

You can record with anything that is bigger than 1280x720, it doesn't matter. Just make sure your vegas project has resolution 1280x720 AND when you import clip to vegas, right click on it > Properties... > and uncheck Maintain aspect ratio

I record in 1920x1080 but you can record in 1280x720 if you want to put it on youtube since 720p is good enough  :cheernutz:
