Where can I get the best pc for 1200$

ivy bridge is still not coming until march of 2012,and thats not even leget info, we dont know the prices yet as well and most people say its gonna be much more expinseve than sandy bridge

from what I heard it's gonna replace the Sandy Bridges' prices   I'd go for it anyway, when he had this PC for ten years or what, what is few more months, right?

I had this one for a few months actually, it's a laptop that I found thrown out on a street that needed some recovery to do  It barely runs VC 


I'm learning a lot today tho, good thing I still have about a month to decide, I'm gonna definitely rethink about some of the things you guys are saying.
I'm not gonna wait till march tho  I want to edit something!

I don't know... I'd rather spend 995$ on these headphones instead of buying a new pc and turn into a gaming freak.

Well, I am thinking in investing in good headphones, but 1000$ is really over the top for me, I think some good 300$ ones will do the trick. Also, I mainly focus my pc on editing, but yeah, games are my weakness

that looks ok, though you could buy an i5 2600K and then clock it, it wouldn't be much different in performance and it's a better deal... but I dunno if they sell it on that site and I can't really orientate there    also consider well the  PC case... when you have water cooling you don't need big fan openings in the case (the one on top - if there actually is one I don't know ) and I think that PSU won't be enough for the graphics card

Actually, could you assign it for me on that site vaguely based on my "requirements" (I'm not gonna OC it tho, never been a fan of that) with amount that exceeds, let's say, 1270$? 'cause that would be awesome

Yeah it does, but I got what you said, just chose the default heatsink & it added up to the same amount, 1165$

Well, with knowledge like "graphics cards are good if they sound cool & have X's in them" or "I better take that which is more expensive" or "this CPU is good 'cause in a magazine for store I saw that they gave 5 stars to a pc with the same one" or "the bigger the numbers the better" it isn't a really good idea imo
