Rockstargames/GrandTheftAutoSanAndreas/data -> search for carcols , open it , search for nrg500 in the list and the change the numbers behind nrg500 to "1,1" and save , done.

Any ideas, how to turn the remaining black, metallic (exhaust system, handlebar and spring) and red textures (the backlight) into green aswell?
If you downloaded the clean nrg mod (removes stickers etc ont he bike) that would be a good place to start. You should be able to find it on here or google pretty easily. Open that up, edit it to the green you want.
It wont change the colour of the metal + brakes etc though, only the body.

For the stickers - enable the alpha channel in TXD workshop (Ctrl + P / Tick 'Alpha is used'). Click on 'nrg50092decals64' and then click on the 'alpha / mask' button at the bottom. Export the image, color it black, import it again and save it. The decals should now be 100% transparent. The alpha channel defines the transparency of the texture (white = 100% visible, black = 0% visible).

^ Basically what the NRG500 suggested by Cookie has. Just wrote down in case you can't find it.

For the black areas, exhaust, handle bar etc. ... that requires some .dff & .txd modding to get images for those areas/objects.

The headlights of the vehicles are in some seperated .txd file, I remember giving my Infernus evil eyes that way years ago. I dunno anymore which .txd file it was though ;(

http://ul.to/h13w8nn1

Just made a short test video. I'm trying to create an 'animated textur', like for example what you see at first in the video (which is by the way this effect). That, but only much more colorful, like a wild storm of colors .. or a firework, you know what I mean? Anyway, the solid colors after that in the first part were only tests to look, if these different colors are problems or not. The second part of the videos shows the pure chroma keying at first, so the nrg500 looks entirely black, then I turned the chroma keyer of so that the nrg is green again.

I used these configurations:

I figured two problems till now. The first one is that I don't seem to get a perfect greenscreen effect. The colors of the whole screen are changing a bit, the sky turns from lightblue to a lightviolet. That's why I tried the color correction. The second problem is smoke out of the exhaust system. It shoudln't lay over the bike.

Some more doodling around:

Anyway, that's it for now. These are just basic tests. In my opinion if this is used in a right way, there should be some great outcomes from it.  ;)
hehe looks epic
