Mirror's Edge is a no-go. Very disappointing results. Don't get it, unless you can get it for free.

It's a hate or love game. Either you hate everything abuot it or love it like it's a firstborn lol. @cody, it's basically a parkour first person platformer.

Parkour first-person...you mean like those free-run vids some people make in those first-person shooters? Or 'skate' without the skateboard lol?

Ye know, I'm watching trailers and vids of this 'Mirror's Edge' game and I kind of like what I see. Only drawbacks appear to be that when ye have a gun it ain't great gameplay and it's also supposedly rather short, but that said you don't have a gun much it seems and it's still a unique game to play. Some decent reviews out there for it.

It is a tad old, but Assassin's Creed. I just got it a few weeks ago, and it's pretty fun. I did get a tad confused at one point and decided to restart, and turns out my perplexity was only caused by me not paying attention to training modes at all.

It's a pretty kickass game. I also though that Rainbow Six Vegas games were fun too.

Good Game gave Mirror's Edge 7.5. They usually give games an 8 or over so that's saying something. In my opinion it's just like Portal; the concept is fresh but that's all the game has going for it.

If 7.5 is a poor rating then that's just a weird rating system

For 60 bucks a pop I'm not willing to pay for an average video game.  So 7.5 is a no go for me.  I haven't played it but gamerevolution gave it a C as well and they are usually spot on.

Mirror's Edge is the kind of game that you can see in the curriculum of some design school for its outside-of-the-box approach and polished style. But playing it is a different story. If you do feel the need to punish yourself, spend your money on a dominatrix instead of Mirror’s Edge.

@Sweet & ppl: I've seen vids, played the demo and loved it all. Then I bought the game, finished it in 3 hours and never thought of every playing it again because it's just those levels (after completing it you can do speedruns, YAY >_>). And even in 3 hours it's annoying as hell to finish, like when she doesn't auto-grab bars or ledges when she has to and stuff like that.

It took me a year to beat GTA3 cause of my lazyness. I bet you it'll take me just as long for mirror's edge >_>
