Here's the parts I'm about to order:

ANTEC Nine Hundred Case
700w power
Intel P35 Motherboard
Core 2 Quad Q9400 2.66Mhz
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
4gb 1066Mhz DDR2
500gb SATA
NVIDIA GeForce 9800GTX+

Does this sound okay?

Indeed Joe, from what I have heard the 4870 is really good! Might be some more cash, but when you go for a set-up like that, you better get it all right.

I prefer Nvidia. So I think it's a good build but if you have some more money you could buy a 9800GX2. It has much more performence. btw. how manny costs you're new comp?

4870 X2 is where it's at  Even a single 4870 would be better than a 9800GTX.

That's a nice build, but the NVIDIA GeForce 9800GTX+ is a bit crappy, so get a GTX 280 (if you prefer nvidia) or a hd4850 (if you prefer ati).

It's not about what you prefer, its about performance and quality. ATI out performs nVidia.
