To me Death, Carcass, Opeth and King Diamond are some of the heaviest bands on the planet, but since I'm a musician, I dont look at it from the tone fo the guitars, basses or any other instrument. I usually look at it from the perspective of the chording used, how dark at the melody lines, the harmonies or lack thereof, things like solos and effects dont really to it, but it is a nice touch. If the heaviest bands were defined by their guitar tone and pitch...then...everyone would be using basses since they're the lowest pitches in metal instrumentation besides the keyboard's lowest G...or guitarists would be tuning down to G, minimum to get a heavy sound

Oh I forgot the bezerker lol, but belphegor isn't that heavy IMO

I like the second one, but I still think this is heavier.

The intro is like...apocalyptic type heavy.
