can sum1 plz give me some distinct reasons y vegas is better than ulead? i am editing a new video and would like it to turn out as good as possible, also, any1 know where i can get vegas 5?

You should use Ulead since everyone in ZS uses Vegas.

I do use Vegas Video 5.0, it's an easy program and very great to use.
I bought it.

It has more effects, more transtitions and more utilities. You can create your own effects too.

Ulead doesn't have the functions to create own effects.

does vegas give u better quality while rendering? cuz with ulead i cant seem to get a non-pixely/non-blurry vid without it being like over 100mb

and y should u use ulead becuz every1 in zs uses vegas?

It depends on which type of render you use, ZS use the sacred Holy mutha of pearls (Credits to AENIMA)

can i get a render for vegas better than any render in ulead? cuz all vegas vids seem to be great quality while till 40 - 50mb

Yes, Vegas gives you better quality. You just need to change the render-options, and then it can turn good. One codec called 3ivX gives low filesize and pretty good quality.

I used Vegas 4 once...I couldnt figure out how to save a good quality vid without the size being outrageous.

cool i installed the 3ivx codec to watch a DA vid...soooo...theoretically when i install vegas i should be able to encode in 3ivx right?

also, if any1 has any render options they are willing to tell me, that they know works good that would be great, if not i guess i ll be experimenting

i have vegas 5 now so i dont need to know where to get it anymore

yes this has been stated several times but i am wondering if any1 will tell me wat settings they use when rendering to get the flawless quality like in all the latest ATS, DA and ZS vids
