    My core speed changed to near 1.5 GHz whenever I did something (it's 600ish MHz in the pic). Guess it's some powersaving thingy cause it's a laptop

    New result after overclocking my CPU to 2.1GHz

    My temps are going up to around 58C on 100% load, so I think I'll stick to this speed.

    are you using the stock cooler? if you are that ones pretty crap

    and i think you could hit that speed without even touching the vcore

    I'm using a Zalman CNPS9500AT with the thermal paste that came with it. I just installed it today along with my new 8800GTS.

    I hit 2330 now, so now I have a 1:1 ratio (333MHz FSB, DDR2-667). The temps are still staying under 65C under full load. And no, haven't touched the vcore.

    You might wanna update that again
