LOL @ Feron.

It wasn't that bad of a video really. I'd spend more time on stunts, but keep it up. You're getting better, but you had a lot of weird stunts. Like packer bumps where you just landed on the ground... keep working at it though, you'll get better.

Dude, people release stunt videos for a reason. To get constructive criticism to learn from their mistakes or what they should improve on. I usually spend less than 10-25 minutes on a stunt, and thats good enough for me.

Please, theres alot of great WMM editors out there, don't use it as an excuse to say you have bad editing.

If you choose to impress us, try harder with more effort. If you choose just to have fun, go on, I'm just saying the use of why people release their stunt vids.

Stunting is for fun, mostly though.

Kenny really said it the best. If you're not sure if the stunt is good or not, ask someone with more experience. Besides, if you can't edit too well, have someone else do it. You don't need a ton of effects to make a good looking video.

I stunt for fun , but I took 4 months for my 1st solo and the same for the 2nd... and I did them on WMM, my advice is, try spending more time on them, perform more stunts, I saw it in all your videos, you include a lot of the run up on them

I don't see any problem in old stunts, if you have fun doing them it's good

I'm just gonna write down my thoughts as the vid goes on as my review:

Hmmm, I wonder what song you'll use...
What's with this intro?
0:35 - 0:45 thats the longest run-up i've ever seen in a vid
0:53-0:56 Too many camera angles, pick one
Don't show stunts that were in the same spot next to each other in a vid
2:02 - 2:20 Another loooooooong run-up
2:28 That has got to be the most hideous taxi skin i've ever seen
The least you could do is use the whole song in the vid

I use WMM and it is absolutely possible to edit good vids out of it. Look at some of my vids.

I tend to agree with some criticism in this thread, but totally disagree with others.

Stop wasting good songs please.

How does one 'waste' a song? You're assuming that once a song's used, it's no longer legal to use it again?

Not necessarily true on the first point. Sure you'd like people to enjoy your vid...but I don't think it deter you from doing something you like if people slam you. On the second point...the better option is to not worry if you're going to impress us or not. Make an impression on yourself...try to make an impression here and you'll become a slave to everyone's constantly varying opinions.

Sorry...BAD idea. Never make your decisions based on what someone else thinks. If you're happy with what you're doing...stick to it. Who gives a flying toss what anyone else thinks?

Sound advice.

That's more a matter of personal taste. There shouldn't be ANY rules to what you do with your editing. It's a creative process...start putting rules in place and everyone's vids will look identical.

Don't take my criticisms of YOUR criticisms personally, please. All down to opinion

On to the vid. I liked it. It reminded me of better days when one's efforts were rewarded regardless of whether or not it stood up to the competition. It's easy to see you stunt for fun, Eagle...and it's also great to see. As far as editing goes...editing is a big learning curve for most. Look through people's vids from first to most recent and you'll see it's pretty much the same for even the best editors. I would agree with a couple of mentions above about lengthy run-ups though - eats up song time and makes the viewers eyes start to wander.

Other than that...nice job. I liked the song choice...reminded me of The Frighteners

My ultimate suggestion for your next vid would be to talk to a few of the vets. They'll be willing to throw you some ideas for both stunts and editting. I use WMM, as do a bunch of other guys around here so there is help if you want it.

Sure you can use a song agian, but all that your gonna hear is "oh good video but that songs been used." Id rather have people comment normally then hear that shit.
