problem:
when i go to install half life 2, it freezes when the windows installer program is loading. i have to reboot my pc by now because everything is frozen. i try to install it in safe mode. the installer loads fine, but another window pops up saying: "LOLZ, now that the installer works, im gonna make you install this program in normal mode, where everything freezes! lolz @ j00!!1"

everything installed fine on the laptop except Steam, but i have that installed perfectly on this pc.

ooh man if i was the angry german kid everything in the room will be broken by now

Do you have the original HL2? Please, say the truth. It won't help you, if you won't say the truth.

I have the same one too. Game of the year edition. But no, it doesn't install only that. You get: Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, Counter Strike: Source, Half-Life: Source, Half-life: Source Deathmatch and Half-Life 2: Lost Coast. That's what I got. And it's damn good. And I have a DVD  I don't know exactly, why that happend and I didn't understand this: "LOLZ, now that the installer works, im gonna make you install this program in normal mode, where everything freezes! lolz @ j00!!1" This really says in that window? Maybe there's something wrong with your system requirements or Cd-rom. And that frozen stuff is normal to me. I just wait for a while and it goes on.

In the store with doors

No seriously, you can only buy a new one. If you buy an old one, you can't play it, because the key can be used only once on one account.

Dude, you can't. I mean you can, but it won't work. Because you need a cd/dvd key and steam. But pirated HL2 can't install to Steam, so it's screwed.
