I don't think it's possible in WMM.
But go and by Vegas or something.

oh in vegas, i JUST made one to send a stunt 2 someone, on a clip on the timeline drag the little triangle in the top left or right to make a fade. go to transitions tab under you file listing and go Flash > Hard Flash (or soft) and drag it onto the fade :D  adjust fade for shorter or longer fade from flash.

I recommend using Glow in Vegas instead of the Flash Transition since the transition coulors the whole frame(s) with white colour while the Glow makes stuff whiter and you have more options to adjust it to make it look like how you want it.

It's easy to do flashes in WMM...

But there's no denying vegas has more options available so I'll save my breath :P

In WMM to get flashes, Go in paint and save a 1000 x 1000 white page. Then just put it in the time line and make it last like half a sec, and thats your flash. Thats what me and fl used to do... even though fl still does it
