V Videos / Re: Shadow - Introduction to Evolve Stunting

Felt like commenting on this as I haven't seen V videos being posted here lately. Also felt like commenting because this music + editing moved me, it was a brilliant video from this aspect, I really like this song and it worked superb here.
Stuntingwise I can say pretty much the same as the old boys before me. I liked some stunts such as the bmx combo or the long wallride at 1:30, a great example when the wallride is actually making sense for me. Other greatcombos looked stylish as well. But longass glides and nonsense stunts did not appeal to me. 4:30, for example, is a plain bump to the side of the electric tower and you even start to fall down from it then you somehow gain speed and start climbing it, just watching this made me anxious. The others are those jumping car stunts, they look so out of...everything I call stunting. One could say we have cabbie boost in SA/VC, but I see the two totally different.

Overall, I didn't mean to be harsh, I enjoyed this video mostly and found some stunts actually great, good job dude.

Fortunately I checked this topic and found these videos. I always find these stuff interesting, what stunters try and land that is not shown in a 'serious' video. Also, I can look for spots and ideas whilst watching your stunts  :P
So I liked all parts, there were some really interesting and good stunts among them!

Great video dude, definitely different from standard V videos, so thank you for making something unique, more SA-like stuff for us  :P

So glad this is out, one of the best solos of recent years, maybe ever. I loved how you kept posting new landed stunts every week, I was like no way, he landed yet another amazing one. I know shit about VC so opener is mindblowing for me, nothing similar is possible in SA. Prefinisher and of course the finisher were my other standouts. That finisher is a great example you can always find stunts at the most common places where every stunter have already sniffed around. The guest stunts were solid as well and I personally liked the song and the editing, too.
You surely haven't gotten rusty over the years, amazing comeback solo!

This video was full of surprises, better and better stunts were coming one after another. It would be hard to point out the standouts as I really really liked the majority of the stunts. The grindcombos were often located at very overused places but yet I somehow felt you are doing something distinctive, not to mention those spots were executed perfectly. Also, the infy stunts were great as well, the finisher kinda shocked me, didn't see that one coming! I myself tried that spot as well, that bb is so annoying there, plus the angle, plus if you somehow manage to reach the roof you still can overshoot it as you almost fell off on the other side. Tight spot that requires perfect angle. I admire you for the variety of stunts and also for the variety within a single stunt. That classic bump2parking lot was one of my favs, I was kinda sad to see the lower level landed until you went on and landed that sign afterwards, brilliant. And to my pleasure you also landed the top part, thank you. The crane landing stunt was so smooth as well. And about the stuck stunts, it was kinda unorthodox but I loved both of them as you landed something decent, I personally don't mind how you got those turismos there.
You have been improving for some time now and this video really is the culmination of your career so far. Hoping to see more and even better stuff from you!

Great video overall, too much csm stunts for my taste but the rest compensated well. And that green building landing in VC was hella tight, the short runup made it the most interesting stunt in the video to me! Editing was good as well, kinda reminded me of old times, good job Oliver, you are producing some enjoyable videos nowadays.  :P

You can bring up the upgrade menu for any vehicle in the game, the setups for it are complicated but it's possible
example -
wow you still alive nig

it's truly worth checking such topics because you cannot be found in the ones of new video releases  :cc_detective:

finisher  you rarely see such 'execution'
the cabbie boost AND the landing were both great, sad that they didn't happen at the same time  :(

Oustanding dedication dude, thank you for always pushing the boundaries of the game. Every stunt looks perfect and maxed out, all stunts landed to top with the best execution, you don't release a single stunt that could be developed, I believe. My favs were the grindcombos, especially that never-ending one coming to LS from the hills. Also the chimney landing with barrack and the finisher. Prog's infy stunt put a smile on my face, finally someone landing the very top of that building, it's like the first time..? The naval base was superb, too, I'm just a bit sad as I still hope it could be landed naturally. It was nice to see Raek, too, that spin made the stunt 2x better.
Editing was energic but not over the top, it fitted well to these brutal stunts, good job Arti.

Onto the next one!

Like Erney, I also see more and more possibilities in these maps as I watch these videos. It was of really high quality, my favourite is gotta be the finisher.

As good as it can be. Really enjoyable video, the classic stunts with a nostalgic SA song was a good match.

VC Stunting Challenges / Re: Post Mortem Krail2grind
« on: May 05, 2020, 07:22:37 AM »
DSS guys missed my point. I know that it's an old stunt and he didn't bother to grind it fully. This is just an example why it's pointless to stunt with a bike on fire, because it can (and will) happen everytime if your vehicle health is deliberately set at 0,00001 percent. And when it comes to new stunts being landed, a half-done grind is always worse than a fully finished one. So I was not talking about this stunt in particular but rather all stunts and grinds that are 'failed' because of the explosion. And I remember seeing Allbeast using this kind of bike in a lot of videos, if not all. That's why I'm asking for the reason, if there is one.

Btw Allbeast mentions he never uses his skin, bike etc during stunting. But if he stunts with a normal nrg than the explosion doesn't happen and he continues the grind normally (until stuck). But in this clip he fails the grind because of the pcj going off, and I don't understand how you can manipulate the rep once it's done. No matter what broken pcj you use in the rep whilst recording, that rep has already been done with a normal pcj that did not explode. Can someone explain this to me? I never experimented with reps so I just don't see the through. Because changing skin and pcj colour and such things makes no impact on the grind itself, but using a bike on fire does?
