Remember, some people (like me  ;) ) have said that they actually liked the music and thought it worked very well with the video.

like i said, the main focus and point of a stunt vid is the stunts. that's why they're called stunt vids. the music doesn't mean anything if the stunts suck. piling on extraneous flair (fancy editing, "perfect" music) doesn't change that.

what's next, "the vid wasn't great because i don't like the colors of your vehicles"?? talk about shallow...
If the music on a newbies video rocks, and his stunts suck, i will still enjoy a video more than if a video has really awesone, all 120 pbs with shitty screamy music.

As I said, if YOU pay ABSOLUTELY no attention to music, then good, it's your choice, just IGNORE comments about music. If someone wants to know people's opinions on, as you said, vehicle's colors, then he will read comments about that, if he don't want to know that - he will just ignore that. Same here.

And people have a right to decrease the rating of the vid because of music if they think that it spoiled the vid. And you can't blame people because of theirs opinions. An if I think that vehicle's colors were awful and the vid is not the best because of them, I have a right to think that, cause it's my opinion and you can't do anything with it and you can't say that i'm wrong.

BTW, you said that the main focus of the vid is the stunts, but a "stunt vid" is, first of all, a "vid" which means that it has editing, music and content(stunts in this case).

WEREWOLF - please stop spamming the topic.

May I just say - each to our own, you can't please everyone with music.  Hell, some folk like Britney Spears - there's no pleasing everyone with music choice.  So how about we all shut the feck up about music, be it good or bad, cos it'll be different to everyone.

Can you please say why are my messages spam and Buzzsaw's are not :side: :nono:

Something tells me that the answer is because Buzzsaw took part in this vid and he liked the music.

I'm actually scared of buzzsaw - he's a serious guy ;)

My point is - keep the spam out.  Want me to come on the gvt thread and spam the living crap out of that?  Thought not :P

As One will be a very tough act to follow up on, for both crews.  But as I said before I am only thankful this idea was turned into a reality, TMS love XSA to bits and I think it was Christmas come early for guys like turtle and Sweet.

lol, i guess you missed the point. anyways, i'm not gonna argue this with you anymore. most stunters know that the stunts are the most important part of a stunt vid. anyone can pick a song, but not everyone can stunt well.  there's very little quantitative aspect of music choice, it's mostly open to personal preference. however, editing and stunts (especially stunts) are more finite when it comes to good and not good. you can put a definition, for lack of a better word, on "good stunts" and "good editing" much more easily than on "good music". there's only certain kinds of music that everyone agrees are bad for stunt vids and those kinds of music are never used in stunt vids anyways.

I'm gonna disagree with you there Buzzsaw.
A well edited movie has a good song in it, ALWAYS.
Look at dedicated for example, the song owned, had a great variatian and was perfect for synching, so you make up some cool effects sync them with the song and the movie gets many times more energic and worth the watch.
I didn't like the song in this one tbh, the song itself is good but you can't really sync it with anything to give it that extra special touch, the song in for example Atelophobia wasn't a better song than this one but it was better to edit vid.
I think almost everyone can agree with me that they'd rather edit with that song instead of this one.

And back to the movie...
I enjoyed this movie, it's a keeper for me.
The stunts kicked a lot of fucking ass and the editing was ok.
I didn't gave me the same kick ass SA Smackdown, Flight Gear and TimeCrash did so they're still on my top 3 list but this one is scrathing somewhere near that.
TMS and XSA are both some kickass crews and they proved it damn well with this vid :)
I hope we'll see As Two soon :P

but most of the time people don't say they didn't like the music because of how it effected the editing, most people just say that they didn't like the song itself. that's when i think people are being shallow, because if the song works with the editing then it shouldn't matter if they liked the song itself because that's just a matter of personal preference.

Sorry for not writing a detailed review, I've been busy. I'll do a quick one:

Stunts: 9.7/10, All of 'em were great, Sweet had one of my stunts though :side:

Editing: 8/10, It was OK, not full of effex, not too clean.

Overall: Great job, this deserves a 9.5/10 :D
