Dipping my toes back in
« on: May 08, 2025, 02:31:27 PM »
Hey y'all!

My name's Muki and I just booted SA back up after roughly 15 years.

I spent hundreds (probably a couple thousand, let's be honest) of hours on the World of Stunting server. Chatted with friends over Xfire and failed the infamous SF bridge jump countless times. Surprisingly, I never did join GTAstunting.net way back then.

A few days ago I stumbled upon Beat and Biel's Unbounded, after which I saw the 2025 community video. I was amazed that the community is still going and it's crazy to see how far people take stunting videos these days. Heck, I even remember me and Beat talking, most likely with drool dripping from our mouths, about how good Ptrvy's edits were - and soon enough Beat himself followed suit and mastered Sony Vegas. And then my jaw dropped when I discovered the stunting video database here, even found myself in there. I'm glad a piece of my childhood has both been preserved and is still alive today.

While I can't really say whether I'll stick around for any meaningful time - I've got three kids, a full time job and a couple hobbies/side hustles after all - I can say I've been inspired and am actively looking for new stunts to land for the time being.

Nice to see an oldie stumbling or circling back around to here - I must have frequented the WOS server among a slew of other stunting-themed ones back in the day and most certainly many individuals have done a remarkable job both keeping the flame of stunting ablaze and preserving the rich and long history [by now] for posterity.

Like TurBo said, very cool to see people from ye ole days pop back up, there's a bunch of people here that have roots on WoS as well, think you'll definitely recognize some of them.
Regardless of whether you'll be active or not, the fact that you're here means a lot especially while juggling 3 kids and a job but everyone here's definitely willing to help you out to get you back on track.
