MP3 is coming out in a month with the same engine version of GTA V, if you can run MP3 smoothly, you'll most likely run GTA V smoothly too.

Not even gonna bother downloading that piece of shit
Obvious attempt at cashing in on the title without implementing anything that made it's predecessors so awesome & unique, you can already see it in the bright & colorful graphics & the fact that it's not situated in NYC.

It seems like you haven't watched anything but the first trailer, which is kind of foolish but it's not like I'll blame you for not keeping up. They implemented EVERYTHING that made its predecessors so awesome, including NYC and the overall dark feel and music even at Sao Paulo, get informed please :P

I can't see how such a game can be an attempt to cash money from a title, this game looks like its been a pain in the ass to make, they had to figure out how to make fluid connected animations, how to make a game with no loading screens AND how to add bullet-time in multiplayer which sounds crazy enough, that is including everything that has to do with the ACTUAL game.

Those who complain about MP3 not being dark already came to the point where they had to shut the fuck up, because judging by the shittons of gameplay videos R* released, this game looks even darker than MP2.

Max Payne 3 Design and Technology Series: "Visual Effects and Cinematics"

Oh and for fucks sake, you don't need crushed black and white colors for a perfect noir feel, because thats what it is, it's just a feeling, you can even experience such feelings in real life and its not like real life would turn black and white it'll stay colorful I'm pretty sure, but it'd still be pretty dull eh?
Maybe a film-noir movie that uses SUPER colorful elements and yet super dark feel at the same time can prove my point: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0780504/

No offense, but the lines seem so cheesy & the way they implement the storytelling is just so wrong for the game. I much rather prefer the simple comic slideshows with melancholy/minor theme in the background. It really works much better & gives you a feeling of accomplishment, as in, a time to rest & enjoy the story, instead of being continuously trapped in non-stop action.

I'm not sure if you played MP2, but the comics were never long enough to "rest and enjoy the story" they were pretty much the same length as the ones shown in this trailer

Oh and I understand Max Payne has an amazing story, but its all about the shooting right? thats the only thing I remember doing for at least 10 hours make that 30 with the replays of the game, really. Thats what made it super fun too, the story without the massive amount of gunplay is super depressing and feels so down (which is good but needs something to counter it, to give balance), the massive amount of gunplay feels like the only thing to counter that feeling.

Well, yes, it was really nice seeing effects like still broken glass in 2 while in bullet time & have them shatter after you go out of it & there was a lot of enjoyable gameplay feats, but what really made the game for me was the story, I'm not kidding, I couldn't give 2 shits less about the graphics (well, maybe not graphics, since they gave the mood to the games) & gameplay combined, if it wasn't for the unique atmosphere of the games. Of course every aspect of the game was what made it so good. Everything was good, that's why it had such an influence & impression on everyone.

I just don't see them recreating that, ever.

Feels like unreasonable nostalgia that'll soon be proven wrong, R* never made a bad game or ruined anyone's expectations (apart from shitty PC optimizing).

If this is true, then fckyeh! But May 2013? Can't wait that long!
At least I'll have MP3 really soon  :cheernutz:
BTW the sooo old previous 2 versions of Max Payne, were games that I truly enjoyed in my childhood! (GTA series and Max Payne Series were the only games that I actually finished)

Just because you hate table tennis/Wii that doesn't mean its a bad game, this game has pretty good reviews and high ratings.
