Fraps full version shit
« on: December 01, 2009, 01:52:35 PM »
Ye, so I need help with fraps and thought I'd post this here real quick.

Ok so here's the deal:
I installed the trial version of fraps long time ago, but when I installed the full version it wouldn't open :cheersad: I've seen others who have this problem and I know it can be fixed in winXP but I'm currently using windows Vista so I have no idea on how to get the full version working...

Hope this will help you help me! Thanks in advance!  :euro:

Uninstall the whole thing and clean the registry before installing the full version.

Tried that to, but there are so many goddamn registry files  :L
Tried downloading 'trial reset 3.4' but norton wont let the .exe through to my comp  <_<

Anyway, I'll just reformat and stop whining I guess.

I had the very same problem three years ago, couldn't solve it in XP. I tried deleting Fraps and then deleting all the related files from register and explorer, but still couldn't open the full version. Pretty shitty situation I think.

Got it solved while reinstalling my OS, haven't touched the trial ever since.

I've read that before and there's just one tiny problem... It only works for XP  :(

Thanks though
