Actually the game doesn't even hit the 90% CPU mark nor does it use the GPU completly (I had a debug kit running - its reliable...). Also the xbox won't crash if the CPU is at 100%, it will simply stop all threads and continue one by one so everything is processed (drop in framerate -> no crash), the memory is another thing though, but the PS3 doesn't have more memory so thats out of question... (The xbox has actually 512mb, the PS3 only 256mb)

I've been playing GTAIV lots and lots, hours and hours at a time, since the day it was released.

agreed witht eh jihad up there... also ona comp it may explode... whats thatone game everyones bitching and moanign about, prey or somethign i think.... yeah i think that requires a bit more han gta.... no explosions yet lol. i think its a load of crap, i think you mistakingly replaced in the "new issue of gamers tabloids monthlypedia" with newspaper, its a common mistake anyone could make i mean i do it myself all the time dont feel down...

Someone at that newspaper sure is misinformed. A computer can't explode and the crashing has nothing to do with it going to fast, the game can't go too fast for the xbox. They can't make a game for a certain consoler that goes faster than the console thats not possible.

What newspaper you reading? The Moron Express? GTA causing a computer to explode, give over. A PC is far more powerful than both a 360 and a PS3 and there's yet to see a game or any application cause any computer to explode. Are you sure you didn't read a bit of an article about GTA then another article about some mentally-slow terrorist blowing himself up, then put both articles together to make a unique article?
