A league you've never heard of it's about supporting your local team. Sure, you can support Arsenal but you're probably so distant from the action and have no real interaction with the team. With my local team you can talk to the manager and players, something 99% of supporters wouldn't get a chance to do at Arsenal and you pretty much know the other supporters so it feels more personal, standing with a few hundred mates rather than 60,000 strangers.
