vc error

Happends sometimes to me, did you tried reset your pc? that work atleast for me lol

alright, reinstalled vice city and i can start the game now, also here's how this started, i was trying to delete pcj600.txd with img tool but didn't work, but i managed to delete it with txd workshop, then added a pcj skin with imgtool and i got that error when i tried to start a new game. heres a pic of the error i got and still get at img tool, what should i do to fix this?

About must be an error of the file itself. It's like this, if you have the img tool inside de zip/rar/whatevs, you have to unzip/unrar/unwhatevs it. And then will work, if doens't work can't find other way to solve the problem.

i don't have the img tool inside the rar, damn...

Don't know if this will help, but make sure your gta3.img file isn't read only. Usually a reinstall of VC will mean all files are installed by default as read only.

it didn't work for gta3.img only, so i did that to both gta3.dir and gta3.img and it works now, thank you
