well, I rendered a video at 800*600, 2 MB bit ratio in a single pass CBR (This is the MQ, the HQ will be 1024*768 and 3 mbs probably). It was laggy on my computer but it always is, seemingly enough. I sent it to TD and it was laggy too, so what can I do to make it unlaggy? but if you suggest an uncompressed avi, keep in mind that I have minimal HDD space (20 gigs or so) so that might not work.

my computer specs:
AMD sempron 2.11 ghZ
896 mb ram
geforce 6100 fx 128 mb

You shouldn't have a problem with lossless avi, our 11 minute video was only 11GB, so unless yours is 20+ mins it should be fine .

although, the last uncompressed avi I tried was the GTASL 3 vid...

Haha yeah that probably would've been about 25 gig, its a good idea to try that and render an DivXviD version with the Huffyfyushuf codec .

It lag in sometimes ? or the during the full video ?

Thats because the mbp is too low, then the quants gets too high. I have no idea what i am talking about, its just something i heard daffy say. Anyway i had the same problem, only with the HQ and i just put more mbps in and it is lag-free now. So go from 2 M to 5. That is what i did.

Either that or increase the bitrate as it might not be able to store enough key/reference frames which fucks up the index and the ability to jump to other parts of the video and cause it stutter.

Yeah, I agree with him. Its bitrate is so low that can't make the vid unlaggy with that size.
