What attracted you to XSA?

Hmmm.

Well, when I "left" TMS (it was either that or get kicked out and them telling I modded a couple times) I was ready to quit. I got all emo and shiz, I was ready to quit stunting, and get out my razor () I was asked by ostis (this was after the thread that said I quit, I think) to join XSA. XSA had always been a great crew (buzz said I coulda been in back way when I stunted PS2) so I jumped at the chance. 3 crew vids and like, 40 videos later, here I am

when i decided to audit for XSA it was kinda a dismounted crew. alot of great stunters quitted (buzzsaw, krem and DC) or changed crew (juan). there was just XSA and TMS that i was interested... TMS on its best activity, and XSA in agony. so i had my calcs and i choosed to try to join XSA... just becouse i was kinda conviced they was needing a dude like me and i did not wanted to see XSA died(maybe i didnt really thouth so). i did my audition carefully and i think i was a lucky bastard  becouse i skilled up and i was able to prepare a full of nice stunts audition. i think i did the best choice becouse now XSA is the king crew of san andreas stunting again.

Well I don't really see it as pestering, it's fun seeing that people are interested and enjoying what we do.

That means alot coming from a member, thank you very much.

I dunno, I just thought I had mine as well get to know these guys if I ever wanna join
haha! half kidding    But honestly, from your videos I can tell your some of the best stunters in GTA, and from your forums I can tell your nice guys. Its just cool to talk to people who share my interest with as much passion as I do. My girlfriend is not as interested in my hobby! haha.

They were a good crew and one that I knew would allow me focus my stunting on SA, something so other active crew at the time was doing. So I spoke to Buzzsaw about using my Final Destination video as an audition and the rest as they is....stuff

After FB died, i had the choice enter The Collective, XSA and TMS.

I joined The Collective because the crew's rules were intresting, but i didn't find my place in the crew and i wasn't happy. So i asked to XSA if i can join them (i was fan of them since TimeCrash) and they ask me a little stunts as audition. I landed my AOA BSM and they took me. I'm really happy to be in XSA now, the aghony period is finish and we're at the top again. (TMS are very good too).

Thanks for the question Marxly.

Now, i'm waiting to see Pep back.

X2, its great to see someone taking an interest in us and asking us questions, rather than waiting for us to just say something, thats what these sections are for, CHAT, not just news

So to answer your questions:

What sets XSA apart from other teams: Theres several reasons that XSA sets itself apart from the other crews/teams. The first is probably that despite all the fads and flavours of the month, we've stuck our goal of being a predominantly an SA crew. While TMS for example has strayed from SA and focused on VC lately, and other VC crews have either dabbled in SA or have had longer periods between videos, we've tried to keep consistantly focused on SA, bringing out great vids as often as we can.
We've also got a well rounded crew, skill-wise; Everyone has their own niches and their ways of stunting, and they bring something different to the table.

What attracted you to it?: The quality of the videos they were making, and the kind of stunting they were doing were what attracted me, and i thought that I could see myself fitting in well with the crew. So with a bit of encouragement from Des i auditioned, but got knocked back when the guys said they felt they had enough members. Tried again with another audition when they opened up again, and hey presto, here i am!

Oh, and it'd be great to have Pep back too, as well as Gotups and Numbdmind. Quick, who's got a spare PC & Copy of SA to ship off to Gotups?

here's what got me interested in XSA...

gotups: "let's start the first SA crew."
me: "ok, but i'm gonna take a break from stunting for about a month. gather some people for the crew and i'll join up later after my break."
gotups: "ok."

that about sums it up.

XSA started around April 2005, starting with gotups294, inviting juan_salad, Legoman and numdmind into the crew.  From what gotups told me Buzzsaw was invited into the crew at the same time, but didnt appear in the first video, Domination. Legoman and numdmind became in-active and effectivly left the crew. Then I was invited, and Here to Stay was made with Buzzsaw in this time, and Nitzkit as a guest. Then there was a bit of a weird area with Barney joining, started making the 3rd crew vid, leaving and kr3mlin joining in his place. After that others such as Pep came along who made a 1 time feature in Timecrash. Everything after that time, September 2005, is pretty well known.

Like Liv I longed for a crew that specialised in sa stunting as back then I wasnt really a vc stunter. Another thing that attracted me was that the crew members were mature, and a good bunch of guys, not to mention great stunters. Xsa was my first choice due to the sheer creativity and originality it oozes.Inactive or not, I shant be leaving!
