Alright, So I've been asked to reply to my comments directly.

So for tacks sake here we go:

The reason I choose Shoguns sig over yours was not because I dont like Colin Ferrel only (tho I really dont like him)

And the reason I didn't vote for fb?'s is because its not really a sig. Plus, you have 0 votes anyways...so ya try a comeback why dont ya.

Anyways,

I found your sig itself Tack to look very...well photo like, as in it looks like it was a stock image as its own and all that may have been done was the addition of grayscaling and some minor filtered details. I'd take the idea that it really looks like a stock image as a compliment (unless it really is...) as you've captured a real look to the sig itself which is something you see rarely.

I picked Shoguns over yours as I found, as a whole his signature was something I haven't really seen all that often. A sig that is relying more on its stock self then on any added effects. Its very hard to tell if any filters/brushing/renders etc. were added to the image before the Text was slapped on which is something I haven't seen in alot of signatures and thats what OVERALL makes it more appealing to me.

Cheers

Ok, I respect your decision. Though, since you obviously know a bit about graphics, why don't you look at composition? Not to be rude, but for me Shogun's sig is a mess, the different parts/renders aren't well placed. Also, depth? Maybe it look likes he tried to create depth, but it didn't work very well. I don't really love the effects either but that's just my personal opinion. What I really don't like with the sig is the compostion. In other words, it looks "off".

And btw, here's the stock I used:

Yeah, I did more to the sig than what most of you thought...

Congratz Tack, you deserve it.  Congratz to AE too.

Nice SOTW "organization" so far Qouad, but I suggest to post link to the stocks in the pools too.

I can't wait for the second SOTW to start, but please don't use freestyle as the theme.
