Internet Problem (if you fix it: CREDITS!!!!)

So my internet works fine on games and downloads BUT it takes minutes to open any website in all of my web browsers (mozilla firefox, internet explorer, google chrome). And that is annoying.

I really need a simple way to fix this. I will come home later today and then I will check all your replies.

I had this too, but it was in fact a virus. The best way to check it is to open the Control + alt + delete thing and see if you have an  iexplorer.exe running which is using incredibly high amount of CPU, even when you're just on your desktop with no internet open.

Yes avira antivir free + superantispyware

Next week when I am working I will run a full check overnight cause those beeping sounds my computer makes everytime avira finds something are awful annoying.

are your network card drivers up to date? I had a similar problem with outdated drivers

delete browse cookie and TMPfile.

Definitely a virus dude. Try doing a full search but yet you may have to format your PC coz the damage is already done.

These are the things I would do/try;

-ccleaner
-switch router on/off
-run a virus scanner
-cmd netstat, cntrlaltdel stats
-ask some wizard wtf is wrong
-if none of the above worked, reinstall windows

What about cmd -> ipconfig /flushdns ?

Guys I have no knowledge of PC/Internet at all so all I red was "blablabla konichiwa". And torekk that ip shit didn't work weeks ago why should it work now?

I am currently running a full check and I cleaned temp files already.... Thanks for the replies anyway... I'll keep you guys updated.

If you are connected to the internet wirelessly you will either have a usb wireless adaptor or a network card above or below your graphics card (will see on the back of the pc). If you have one download and update the drivers for it (create a restore point before ofc)

usb wireless adaptor... i updated that once some time ago... might do again.

I talked with somebody irl about it and he said he had the problem before but it wasn't because of his computer. The problem there was that the internet was asking for more speed (no I won't use epic 1337 language) than the router could handle wich resulted in a sort of 'overbuffering' of the router. So when he switched it on/off for a little while the router was 'clean' again.

E: My point is that is doesn't have to be your computer wich causes the problem it might as well be your ISP or the router etc.

tldr; just delete system32
