[CLEO 4] Replay Saver
« on: December 19, 2010, 06:38:45 PM »
Download

After pressing F2 to save your replay, wait at least 8 seconds before pressing F4 to save the replay (the mod will actually force you to wait, so no worries, eh?). The replay will be copied to a new directory in "GTA San Andreas User Files".

It is also reccommended to not press F3 too soon after pressing F2 as well, as due to a bug in the game, the replay will attempt to play without it being fully saved...

You can save up to 9,999 replays (good luck on tryna achieve that limit). From "1.rep" to "9999.rep".

This was made a while ago, still, I've made discoveries since then which may allow me to extend it's capabilities, so an update might come when I have the time.

So can you make something to view replays from the same directory without alt+tabbing?  :a-cheer:

BeaT, I'm sure there had been a tool for that already. But it was kinda bugged or sth. :hmm:
Crazy Trainer +151 also has some function to copy replay files to another directory without leaving the game.

Maximum of 9999 is okay, I got ~900 replays so far. :cheernutz:

Thanks Deji  :P
Now go stunt with your 40 fps! :euro:

ye but you have to rename the replays... and if you follow it step by step then you will not get any replay crashes by loading or at least it's safer.

I have 30 fps and still do stunts ^ ^

is not the fps that changes the stunt, but more his ability to invent their own (y)

wut?^  And in your sig.. its "Coming soon" not.. "Comming soon" anyways

Might be handy, but I prefer my way of saving reps, which is the standard one  :ajaja: If you can change reps without switching in/out of the game that would be quiet handy for some editors here

If I make a new version, chances are I'll include an interface allowing you to name replays before saving and load old ones, etc.

I mostly have a very unstable 15 FPS... When I do get higher, the ease in stunting is very noticable. Simply put, faster FPS means a higher accelleration/speed for all vehicles ('tis a rather cheap game engine, lol).

You already know what I think about the replay system :euro: It is a cheap engine.

Saving, renaming & loading replays ingame is a good idea. :ajaja:
