Trading my Video Card
« on: August 11, 2010, 09:40:05 AM »
Hello guys, I wanted some help here.

Some weeks ago I had a major problem on my PC. Energy Suply, Video Card and MoBo all fried at the same time.
My first thought was buyng a whole new PC, but that's out of question for the moment, so I'll just change the damaged parts.

I have a Core2Duo E4600 2.4ghz, and I wanted to know if the ATi Radeon HD 4850 would be a good match for my CPU, cause the price on that is really good. My old VideoCard was a great GeForce 8800 GTS, but it's not available anymore.

So, the Radeon won't be limitated by my old CPU?

Thanks in advance

HD4850 is almost equally good with 8800GTS, so you should be perfectly fine.
