Yeah if we were all able to upload to the official Youtube channel then it would cause arguments.

But I'm pretty sure you were suggesting making it so we can upload directly to gtas, that would cost a lot more in bills for the hosting as videos just chew through virtual space like it's nothing.

I wasnt meaning to the YT channel. I mean to GTAS. Iam sick and tired of YT copyrights!
Ok your right about the money but what if you make GTAS like  a website not a forum and blog... i mean like with a start-up page with the latest releases and shit. That page should be updated everyday and there should be links to the forum and blog. Thats just an idea

Drop the copyright bit, the most shitty songs for stunts videos are the ones that are copyrighted under WMG or someshit, it happens 1 of a million that a song MAY sound good... best music are mostly without any copyrights, if you want know list of the bands/artists that will get muted at youtube here:

Good thinking there, except we cant upload to this site. But things do happen quite often around here with video releases and other things I dont see why someone doesn't update once a week with news. There was a time that everyday we could of been posting lots of shit in the main page of a website. the gtastunting challenges, crew videos, I dunno, I thought we had people who knew how to work these things.

I'd love to see something like a blog which includes the latest most important videos. Also general infos could get written down like league announcements etc. Take a look at gta-stunt.com or thegamersalliance.com, they got that. Always been missing something like that here. So I'm basically agreeing with XtO, staffs could create such blog posts.

Oh and to get rid of YT copyright shit... TGA should get something to play the videos (similar to FileFront used to). So there'd be streaming + download and it wouldn't even get deleted after some while.

A streaming video site is completely out of the question. Too many things are needed to make this happen, the big thing would be money which would involve donations....which is something we have yet to receive from even one person. Another thing preventing this would be copyright. Just because we wouldn't be YouTube doesn't mean we can avoid this. The only thing I can suggest would be to upload your videos to more relaxed sites, such as WeGame.

As for a full blown site, we would need more people actually making videos and an active staff for this to happen.

I just did a quick search of SA and VC unmodded video releases to find out there have been more than 10 videos released this week! (Only 1 might be good. :P )  But, stunting is in a slump, and this gives me hope.  So maybe we can get some staffers? It seems like enough is posted, each and every week.

Thoughts?

lp, quit bitching, it's not happening unless you're paying for it. Nobodies making you upload to youtube, there's plenty of other streaming AND download sites, vimeo, filefront, wegame.

Also there's incredibly easy ways to avoid copyright. In the description put that message that was going around about how it's not your work and solely for entertainment and whatever else.

Theres THOUSANDS of streaming sites, why waste money for something you can get free?

As for the news thing, i guarantee maybe four of you actually stop at gtastunting.net then click forums, hell i'll bet half the community don't even know we have a site! why should we bother wasting bandwidth and time for something maybe ten people will check on a regular basis?
