hey...i've noticed alot of people are using windows media player for their vids here, and that's fine and all since the majority of people here are PC users. When I downlaod most of these vids though, they play back really horribly. It says they are buffering at around 1500 kbps or more usually. I've noticed that for the most part they are some of the newer vids too. When I first started wacthing any stunt videos, which was about 7 months ago maybe, all the ones I watched were in .wmv format, but they buffered at around 300 kbps. So my question is this: Is there something I'm needing to watch these files correctly, like a codec for windows media player, or are there just more people now making vids that don't really understand the compression process? I would appreciate it if someone can shed some light on this for me, as I am a Macintosh user who for the most part has to watch .wmv movies, since most of yhe vids are in that format. Thanks if you can help.
