Yo, very enjoyed watching it, grind combos were just superb! Also cameras were so good, as i like, but i have question, what is your resolution and how you make this view of the game? Is it FOV mod or something?
P.s. Link for the stunting ready version of this mod?
Can send you a working map link this week, it will have my skins installed but I think you can change that yourself  :P And like Ezraph mentioned it is ViceFOV (21 FOV, 1.25 height stretch as values in the tool if anyone cares, that's at a 16:9 resolution). I'll include it in the MI zip. Be warned though, once you use it there is no way back. I started with default, then used this at 10 and now I'm at 21 but I'll stay here since I like this a lot. An FOV of 10 looks dumb now, and because the FOV makes everything look faster your RADs will become better overnight  :cc_detective: Until you decrease the FOV and then you suck again. With values of 25 for instance RADs looks twice as fast to me, if not more, but compare the clips side by side and you reach the same point at the same time. It makes the game much more enjoyable for me personally, and with the FOV increase I can finally see something around me when boosting so I can do a few more attempts per hour since I can respawn a tiiiny bit earlier each attempt

And thanks for the kind comments :) Feels good to finally release this thing after all this time. Onto the next one.

Been a while since I rendered a stunting video, but here we are. It's a duo in Myriad Island so sorry for anyone expecting VC/LC  :P Most stunts were landed in 2015 but we never had enough to make a complete video. With the lockdown a tiny amount of extra stuff was landed and the gaps in the timeline were finally filled after years.

@rainbow I dont have anything from that time of life anymore, I wish I would though.. anyways that vid says it all already, there is no need for digging through the replays.
What do you mean by 'the vid says it all already'? And I did notice the hair btw, thought I was tripping for a second

and is the finisher old?
Ye, Cdarmy landed that ages ago. One of the first stunts in Final Touch by Chaos Theory. Anyway, very enjoyable video to watch, your editing is always on point! One question though, do you still have the replays of your solo 'Come and Go'? And if yes, could you upload them?

The link:

Very fun watch, the editing made it very enjoyable! And those 90s videos look sick never heard of them before, will watch some later. Stunting wise this stunt video was nothing special though, just a bunch of backflips and 360 spins. I think many people here will enjoy this video a lot from an editing point of view since it's very enjoyable generally I reckon, but stunting wise the standard here is much much higher to the point where doing a backflip over a fence is not even considered a stunt anymore (which may sound a bit harsh).

The two rollercoaster boosts, the 360 to ramp to grind and the finisher were my favorites. That last one was pretty sick :ajaja: Had a look around for that thing but never imagined this would be the first landing I saw.  Very enjoyable video

I wonder if this is transferable to vice city in any way, would make tank stunting a lot more convenient when there is no need to reset the packer every time :ninja:
I always make a savegame where the last vehicle I entered is the tank (and the packer is correctly placed). After each attempt just reload it, load location and turn on ghost town. Having to wait before you're able to get out of the tank, moving away a tiny bit, spawning a packer and loading the secondary location, then having to get back into the tank and reload is just ugh  So much more effort than braindead clicking a few buttons for 2-3 seconds. Hopefully you were already doing this  :ninja:

That freeway p2b to grind was very dope. Cool find!

Review template available? If not I'll edit this later for the stunts but enjoyed it a lot  :) The clean editing felt a bit weird at the start because of the slow pace and slightly less interesting stunts but when that pace picked up the video almost felt too short. Some camera angles might not have showed the stunts perfectly but it made the video differentiate from others so I didn't mind that much. Rewatched it a couple times already so must've liked it  :P

Any tutorial on the Barracks script (seeing how there are no other cars and only that driving around)? And what is that 'stuck'(?) method used on the stadium stunt and finisher? Seems like they sunk into the ground a bit. Just an iBSM on the last one?

Watched it right after release but I'll comment here as well.

Very sick video with many awesome precisions, and that finisher is just mad high  :ajaja: One of my (probably less obvious) favorites was the 'purple tower' landing at 14:20. It's all console clips which makes editing harder and easier at the same time (don't have to worry about the camera angles being good enough) but combined with the great music choices it felt like the video was much shorter than it is which I mean as a compliment.

On the flip side though, the variation in the video was pretty much zero, same car (apart from 2 stunts iirc) and all stunts are a ramp2landing with very, very few exceptions. The video itself did not get boring but the stunting did at times, it felt predictable and some stunts looked like variations of stunts seen before. Wouldn't hurt to experiment a bit more, maybe just bumps instead of pure ramps would already be an upgrade.

Lastly just a question from my side, how much does old gen car gliding help you here? Are these stunts even close to theoretically possible on PC? I did a few easy car stunts on xbox (360) but was never really into it and never tried it on PC so I have no idea what the difference is.

« on: September 04, 2020, 05:07:17 AM »

I use this, which fixes the mouse unresponsiveness issue and makes things look less horizontally-stretched (an issue with 16:9 versus 4:3 resolutions).
any idea how to install it?
Click on the website button, it has installation instructions.

Think I saw 3-4 old stunts but might be wrong about one. Very nice video, good song, good edit and nice stunting. Only note I had was that some stunts were only shown in a cinematic way which makes it seem the edit was more important than the stunt itself which I never really like but even with that I enjoyed this video a lot  :ajaja:

Also, part 18 of a solo stunt series. EIGHTEEN! Madman.

0:27, 2:47 and the finisher were my favorites. Stunting level was all over the place but the good stuff was very nice. Very enjoyable video  :ajaja:
