Here's a copy of MI I made a few years back with no traffic/peds, some original vehicles restored etc. When you spawn in press tab to respawn then give it a minute to load the map properly.

Cool vid, always found it interesting that other stunting communities exist independently outside of GTAS - are there chinese/vietnamese/etc stunting based forum(s) or is it solely through Skype/Discord etc?

Not saying it's happening soon, but if this site ever does get shutdown, where will we all discuss and reminisce this?  :cheersad:

Once GTAS kicks the bucket that'll pretty much be it, maybe some nostalgia on YouTube comments or with old friends on whatever conversation platform becomes relevant in the future but once GTAS itself dies I'd say that's pretty much it for stunting, atleast in 3D era games. HD era will somewhat keep going as it's never really been fully affiliated with GTAS and I don't doubt someone somewhere will still be making VC/SA vids after this site goes but if I had to hazard a guess the majority of the people still active/making videos/etc do it out of nostalgia, habit and the fact GTAS still exists to get feedback - once you lose that the incentive (other than personal fun/accomplishment) to put those videos out is lost.

The fact GTAS has made it this far despite it's relative inactiveness these days is a miracle and I'll be here until the bitter end. Coming up on 13 years of membership, joined when I was 10 I'm 23 now and watching old videos hits with some bittersweet sentimentality. Kind of funny thinking of all those dudes who were super prominent in the scene and had godlike status (and inflated egos because of that) when really all those accolades don't mean shit outside of our niche community. People sank hours, days, weeks or even months into playing these games and just disappear out of the blue. That's not to say it was all for nothing as I'm sure a good majority of us learned transferrable skills (ie video editing, game modification, photoshop, web shit etc) from making vids/fucking around, plus just all the shit that goes along with stunting; skinning, editing, skype calls, racing for spots, shitposting, making friendships that transcend just fucking around in our little corner of the internet.

First of all 3 cars are caunting modded exaple Occurance Mehmet's finisher..I'm not knowledge about modded stunts but it looked weird even to me,stunts were too fast and lots of landing looks modded you had to fall lots of them :hmm:
In fact using 3 vehicles isn't considered modding. The way mehmet landed the stunt you describe or this video's finisher is a lame way of using them not to mention that the latter is with modded handling.

3 vehicles isn't necessarily modding; a certain Love Fist mission can allow 2 vehicles to stay in memory so you can in theory do it but lets face it 3 vehicle stunts (ie p2csm) are pretty shitty.

Sup guys. Anyone got experience making maps in VC? I tried this back in 2012, but ran into technical issues which I was either too dumb or lazy to solve. I actually did create a sizeable city using LC/VC/SAiVC/SOL models, but due to IPL related stuff I couldn't get it working.

Can anyone here make a large 3D model surface? Flatface made one for me back in 2012 as a sort of concrete foundation that I could start placing buildings upon, but the link is dead and I verymuch doubt he's still got the 3d model of it. Just a gray flat surface would suffice and would be extremely helpful.

I'm currently watching tutorials on Moomapper & Medmapper, trynna get an overview of things. Once I've sorted out the technical stuff, the construction part is easy and tons of fun since I love messing around with map editing in various games.

You could probably just clear all the IPLs out in moomapper and then scale up a large chunk of floor (ie airport) as a base :P

Made this a while back, scrapped it together using some old skins then spent a little more time on the wheel texture. Always thought it needed something more but never really did anything with it.



Biel wanted something generically brutal so I used it as a base for a bike that looks like everything else I made in 2014 :P



Got bored, rehashed the original with some different body textures and green highlights.
