Hey guys, a while ago I remember someone mentioning some software here which increases PC performance but I don't remember the name of that software anymore lol. I remember how it works though, you click a button and it closes a bunch of processes and other stuff and after you're done gaming, you click that button to restore the stuff. Any of you guys know the name lol? I need that program. Thanks in advance guys!

Hey people, I've ran into yet another problem. I'm making a scripted theme show and I'm going to be editing it, only thing is, I cannot record in high resolution with 30FPS so I decided to go with BK's 15FPS method. I did absolutely everything according to the tutorial but the result is kind of weird, it is smooth, but much faster than 30FPS for some reason. Daffy suggested I change the frame rate with VirtualDub and I tried it but it's the same result. Weird thing is, I recorded a replay of a stunt with 30FPS and BK's method and compared both of the clips, was surprised to find that both of the clips were perfectly synced. When I record a script, it messes up for some reason. I already scripted the whole show, I'll be damned if I can't edit it lol. Please help me out guys. Thanks in advance.

Heya guys, bumped into a new problem lol. I've been having this for a long time actually, since I reinstalled windows(XP). The problem is VC/LC crashing everytime I tab out, sometimes it just freezes and I can only see the mouse cursor and then I would have to restart the PC, sometimes if I'm lucky I can bring up the task manager and end the game process. I deleted the set thingy in the user files folder and I tried tabbing out from the main menu and it worked but then the game started crashing during the loading process so that didn't work. Just recently, somehow it automatically got fixed, I didn't do anything, it just stopped crashing and I tabbing out wasn't a problem anymore but just yesterday that shit started happening again, it's a weird problem lol.  Would appreciate any help guys, thanks in advance.

Hey guys, I got a little problem and I wasn't really expecting to get it. I downloaded a 720p .mkv video and I wanted to cut a specific part from the video and upload it to youtube but I ran into some trouble, I found out that I can't import mkv files into vegas. I open up Total Video Converter and convert the video to H264 Avi High Quality, the quality is intact but the audio appears to be out of sync, the audio is 1-2 seconds late so that didn't work either. I tried everything lol, I tried using a program called MKVExtractGUI, AVI-MuxGUI ect. but none of these worked. I wasn't really expecting this to be this complicated, I mean, I just wanted to upload a video to youtube with good quality. Can anyone please help me do this somehow lol? Help will be much appreciated, thanks in advance guys.

Can you guys suggest some good FPS games? Anything but Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Modern Warfare 2 because I have those games already. Good FPS games released between 2008-2010 and preferebly games that include a bit of horror theme, I loved F.E.A.R. Project Origin and I tried searching for games like that but didn't find any lol, something like that if there is any. Thanks in advance guys.  Edit: Please, no arguements about MW2 being better or worse because I honestly don't care and I am not much of a critic so I like 90% of the games I play lol.

... Are annoying. I recently re-installed Windows after a massive virus invasion, everything seemed fine until I bumped into this problem. Every 15-20 minutes I get this weird periodic lag and it lasts for about 10-15 minutes and not only while playing games but also while watching Youtube videos and everything lags in general. I only have Vice City and Counter Strike 1.6 installed at this moment and these games should fly even with a shitty computer like mine and these games do fly, for about 15-20 minutes. I even cleaned PC coolers and crap, still no luck. This never happened before, I'm guessing it might be the Windows or something? I have no idea, you guys got a clue what the problem might me? Would appreciate any help, thanks in advance guys.

I just now installed SA and whenever I get inside a vehicle, I get this extreme lag for about 5-6 seconds. I cleaned my PC cooler, defragged my HD, cleaned my registry and deleted cookies and such, no effect other than getting 65FPS after this extreme lag. Anyone know a solution to fix this? It's really annoying like when you bail a stunt and get back onto the NRG. Would appreciate any help, thanks in advance.
