Expression Section / Fade to One
« on: January 31, 2011, 05:20:09 AM »
So yeah, I got this idea of smashing two Metallica songs together; Fade to Black and One. I haven't "written" too much yet, just an intro -which may need some changes- and I'm in progress learning to sing the lyrics to One with Fade to Black-melody.
But I don't know, you think it's a good idea? I think it sounds pretty cool so far  :P If you like it I'll finish the whole thing.

Expression Section / Reign in Feign
« on: September 22, 2010, 01:38:44 PM »
Hello!

I just finished my first song made in a real studio and I'm so fucking proud to have it done, been waiting all summer since we recorded the "raw" material :P

Not really my ordinary kind of music style (Thrash/Groove Metal) but I had to choose something easy enough for a school music project and this originally acoustic song fitted well.

Not that I go under a title or something, but I think "Atheism God" is such a cool name that I'd use it if I ever start a band. Nothing offensive against religion, it's just a pretty awesome name

Well, the song IS about religion and about living around sorts of extremists that brings you down, but it's nothing that I've experienced  ;)

The lyrics may not be in correct English, some words may mean something else but I really tried my best to make it fit together.

All instruments played by me. The singing too, but it was my first time ever so it's not that awesome but I tried my best  ;D

Mixed it together with Theonly One's awesome dad by the way

Atheism God - Reign in Feign

Lyrics:

(VERS)

They say I'm rude
The Lord of ignorence
And no feelings has ever passed through my veins
They all are saints
And I'm a devil in their eyes
Constant believing in lies

This script
Manual book of life
How am I supposed to put my trust
Into a deep
Conspiracy
I'd rather, rather
Be free

(REFR.)

Strong men survies
Without these lullabies

(VERS)

Doom
Is near they say
Still they fool weak people to pray
Signs without science
Blinds their empty minds
Stops them from writing trustworthy lines

Living in a cell
An endless rehab
Slaving under an imagined saviour
Making up things
'Bout those who don't believe
Sinners is our names, and we'll always remain

(REFR.)

Destroying our World
Never they learn

(SOLO)

(REFR.)

Enter the Reign in Feign
Driving you
INSANE

Save these innocent children
Let them live their own lives
Isolation and limitations
Kills you before you die

'Cause you're already dead..

VC Un-Modded Stunting Video Releases / Madonna (Shedding Skin)
« on: September 17, 2010, 08:03:47 AM »
As inactive for over two years on these forums, I couldn't really stop myself from trying on some stunts
at some points. So I landed one here and there, not the best ones but I thought by then they were really cool.
This video is kind of a collection of those stunts, filled up with some hopefully new and fresh ones; you will
probably notice which ones.
It contains a few easy, old and lamed stuns but I thought it would be a big kick in mine old ass if I didn't
choose to release them in some way :P
The name is actually "Shedding Skin" and is based on the stunts, I don't want them to just lay around anymore and start fresh again. "Madonna" was my first choice but Shif said it was old and lame, but he used it anyway

Nevermind, just enjoy this second VC-solo truly great edited by Shif and hopefully inspire you to keep stunting
for fun. :)

GTA Modding / Sparks Generator [VC]
« on: August 05, 2010, 02:01:34 PM »
A few years ago someone created some kind of VC Sparks Generator -Dannye?- and I wonder if it still exists?
Been searching all over here and there but I can't find it, since I think it was pretty good.
Would be glad if someone can help me or if there is a better one we use these days.

To be more clear; you kind of picked a colour and you got a document with the right numbers to replace with the standard file..I'm not that good at this but I hope you understand.

Expression Section / A few riffs
« on: July 14, 2010, 06:51:21 PM »
Howdy, I just wanted to show you some riffs I've made.
A few years ago I bought myself a Line 6 Guitarport and the program Riffworks which I had on my last computer, plus the activation code for recording in the program -around 60$ which is way too expensive- and I've been using it for coming up with songs and recording demo-demos since I'm just an amateur guitarplayer without a band.
Thing is, the computer broke a few months ago and there's something wrong with using the GuitarPort on the new one, and the activation code were bound to the computer so from now on I'm unable to use it, which is piss!

Well, I tried some short recordings including drums, bass and effects recorded with my keyboard, which is great to be able to do since the in-program drums sucks hard. I just connected the headphone output from keyboard to the GuitarPort with the guitar wire.

I have about 20-30 riffs and I only recorded a few of them, and a few of those with drums etc.
Not the best riffs I've made but some of them sounds cool though the "production" is pretty bad, just some volume adjustions and WMM to edit them together..
Lots of missed notes and not in tact but it's only test recordings.

Riff 1; "Coq" (Mainly thrash metal)

http://www.multiupload.com/Y8Z51R48JE

One of the first riffs I ever came up with, it's as you can hear VERY Metallica-inspired and it was like the only thing I was listening to at that point so..
Starts with an "classical" part, and over to a more rocking one, a pretty much improvised part and over to a way too fast riff I realized, since it wouldn't fit in to the rest (which I at that time had not come up with yet). The lyrics are written and the main guitar but that's about it. Wish I could record it.

Riff 2; Just some riffs put together (Heavy Metal)

http://www.multiupload.com/GULROMWLFQ

Starts with a quite fast riff, and the rest was just something I came up with during recording and it sounded shit but it kinda builds up to another riff, which I will not use for anything since it's not good at all. It all turns into a minute of shit jamming but it's pretty fun listening because I can't play solos for damn sure, just tried to hit any note..hehe.

Riff 3; "Pantera" (A touch of Groove Metal)

http://www.multiupload.com/5HE2M7QOV2

Well, I wrote these riffs when I was mostly into Pantera. Starts with an chill hammer-on/pull-off bit and goes (bad) into a heavier riff, mainly inspired by Pantera. I fucked up the drums but didn't remake them so it destroyed some parts.

Riff 4; "Rock 'n Roll" (Rock 'n Roll!!)

http://www.multiupload.com/TM7ZPK7K99

So I decided to push myself to write a more AC/DC-alike riff but the way I wanted to play it.
The production were a bit better but still bad, starts with a typical power chord-intro and over to a more with swing and rythm. And of course, one minute of freaking jamming..
I've been working more with this song like putting some lyrics but I'm pretty bad writing Rock 'n Roll texts.

Riff 5; Unnamed (Heavy Metal)

http://www.multiupload.com/4UQYMPTI6Y

Well this is a bit I really enjoy playing, starts with three variations of a riff and over to another, faster one. Continues with some other testriffs and to some jamming again..
Pretty much Metallica in it.

Riff 6; An intro to a song named "Jolly Good Fellow".

http://www.multiupload.com/JIZIC5CXZ8

This is only an intro I tried to create, which will continue with some snare-drumming and matching riffs.
I've been playing this clean for a while but it sounded just as cool with distortion.
And oops, I forgot to rend it so it's about 25 mb.

Well that was pretty much what I found on my harddrive, it's such a bitch that I'm not able to record anything more.
I would be glad to show some new material, been very into Machine Head, Throwdown and classical music and I feel more inspired now by anything than I've ever been before.

Oh, here's some FL Studio stuff I showed a few years ago and I had almost forgotten them because it's such a mess on my harddrive. Was awesomely glad when I found them again.

1; "Santa And Satan"

http://www.multiupload.com/JMGZ1K9LC8

The name speaks for itself; starts with some Christmas-variations and into a darker part.
I'm very proud of it, one of my best works!

2; "Jysk Bäddlager"

http://www.multiupload.com/VUOX993GJ8

3; "China Hats"

http://www.multiupload.com/Q6I4HR3QO9

I don't know if it's a typical chinese of japanese melody but I tried to do something funny.

A swedish bedcompany commercial song that I did my own version of.
I've used it in a VC Stunting League contribution video against Godfather in 2008.

Cheers all.

GAME:       VC, VC/LC, VC/SA
STYLE:      Simple, nothing superfancy but still eyecatching.
STUNTS:    Fifteen
SKIN:        Yes
FONT:       Yes
BIKE SKIN: Yes
SONG(S):   Decided

I am currently planning to go a step further with a bunch of replays I have been saving for a while, and create a video. I have pretty much lost interest in editing myself, since I do not have WMM anymore and not familiar with Vegas at all.

So I just wanted to know if somebody is interested, maybe not avaliable at this particular moment or week but do reply if you are. Oh, and please show me some of your previous work too, PM or in this topic.

Cheers!

EDIT: Got one now. Close if neccesary.

Introduce Yourself / Heey
« on: June 26, 2010, 02:08:25 PM »
Greetings, GTAS!
Don't know if anyone remember me since I've been away from this site for pretty much two years now.
I left for a few reasons, I had to concentrate more on the hockey since I tried to get into a new team, which resulted in two great seasons.
Another reason was that I was pretty tired of this site and of stunting, so I thought that it would be nice to finish it all.

Still, I couldn't really stay out of stunting and I have landed a few over the years, that soon will end up in a pretty nice video I hope.
Times change and it's all good to be back, brings back some fine memories.

Cheers!

« on: June 09, 2008, 04:33:55 AM »
I just borrowed XBOX 360 and GTAIV from a friend and the scart-cable didn't fit into none of our three televisions, so I tried to insert the scart-cable to the computer and one jack fitted, the white and red sound cables fitted too..but now, how do I..see the game? Where do I find the options for shifting what's shows on the screen? Or do I have to drag out the computer scart?

Hope you understand the question even though my english sucks today..please help, thanks.

VC Un-Modded Stunting Video Releases / Déjà Vu
« on: June 01, 2008, 01:33:52 PM »
Hello, this is my "Best of"-vid; a collection of stunts I've landed, (or atleast been close), during the period...I think it was July 07 'til..yeah, 'til now. It's not massive stunts only, some cool leftovers too.

Edited in Movie Maker, but when I was going to rend it, something went straight to hell and the files don't get larger that like 8-10 mb even though I choose like 40 mb.

I hope I can fix the problem and render in better quality, so I can youtube it. How nice, youtube works good.

Déjà Vu - VERY, VERY LOW QUALITY

Youtube - Also very bad quality

Computer Talk / Torrents?
« on: May 05, 2008, 04:56:49 AM »
I had a little idea one day..about torrents and stuntvids.
I was wondering if we possibly could make some kind of torrent site with stuntvids or programs only, because for example; Fracture HQ was on 400 mb and took the whole day to download. And the GTA: United mod wasn't that small either. The files you download can't be paused so you have to download the whole vid/file at one time..or in a line or what it's called in english . With torrents you can download a bit of the vid whenever you want without parents that keeps shouting that  the internet connection is slow and they won't get in on internet..

But the second question is; How does it really work with torrents?
I am not a real computer king but I think the torernt is a extremely packed file that unpacks while downloading or something something..I'm so wrong..?
I opened up utorrent and choosed "create torrent" and selected a vid that didn't take too long to create with.
What would happend if I upload it on a site and another person download it? Can we have a sort of connection to each other and share download speed?
Does it work that way or am I just completely facing the wrong direction?

But what do you think, is it a good idea or not? And can it possibly work?

Expression Section / Metallica Medley
« on: March 18, 2008, 11:42:51 AM »
Last week our school organized a "music day" when all the kids in our school could play their instruments in front of the other classes. Me and two other guys decided just for fun to play something with Metallica, but we had never played together and none of us could play a whole song and we had only like 5-6 hour for practising so we did a simple mix with some of their best songs. We played three gigs and this is the first one, the only that got filmed by a guy in my class, but we were actually a bit nervous so Master of Puppets sounds too fast and the solo on Nothing Else Matters fucked up..and some part in For Whom The Bell Tolls sound horrible. But hey, we had great fun
Filmed by a mobile camera...so the very loud disted guitar and bass sounds far away..and he clipped the best part at Orion away

Metallica Medley

I'm the guy that plays guitar

Dropbump to precision

You'll get the runup by using a packer as ramp from the roof next behind
Land in the yellow area but the green would be way nicer.
