Anyone knows how to get mpg files in Vegas to work? Is there some kind of codec or something? I need it for a [span style=\'font-size:14pt;line-height:100%\']secret[/span] vid I just started on.

yea you need to download the plugin, when you try to put a mpg file on the timeline does it pop up a box sayin you need to download the plug in to let you import mpg files?

I think this topic is about the same thing... but the solution given doesn't work for some of us.

I have Vegas 6.0 and I've got it to work, had to do it in an illegal way. But I won't tell you here, it would be against the forum rules.
