Rendering was quite a challenge. Vegas Movie Studio 4 was being more of a bitch than usual and was constantly screwing the audio, until it somehow managed to fuck up the Windows Media V9 codec :angry: . As I couldn't save to WMV format I rendered it to a raw AVI and compressed it with DivX 6.0 codec in VirtualDub. The image quality is not as great as the first one but it's still fairly good with a moderate file size.

Anyway enough of my rant, enjoy the video and give your feedback.

Anyway IÃ¢â‚¬â„¢m sure most of you will appreciate it since the previous FF link (which isnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t working anymore) was getting wait times of 2 and 3 hours.

Oh, and I reinstalled Windows codec pack and rendered the video to WMV format (DivX sucks dick), the image quality is now slightly better and the file size was reduced a bit.

I love it u only make a stunt vid with cars.
and i wasnt bored when i was looking it wich is a good job
cause most cars stunts at SA r not so cool but u make some awsome stunts with it.
Keep it up ;) and maybe make a nitro 3 hehe :P or u just kill the cop and use those bikes because i wanna c more

A few things you could work on are landings and variety; A lot of roofs, try to do a few car grinds, a few wall climbs; that sort of stuff. Good vid nonetheless, I really liked watching it.

Post by: kr3mlin on November 06, 2005, 06:45:17 AM: A cool car stunts vid man. Your stuff is top notch, the only stunt criticizm is that you seem to just do the same stunt over and over, along the strip of LV....those were the best stunts in terms of roofings but by the end they got a bit bland

Even so they were some of the best stuff done with those cars.

The editing was simple and synching was fine at times but some were missed. Just work on a bit more polish for editing

But a cool vid anyway :grin:

Stunts: 8/10 Not much variety... j/k, but next time, if there will be one, try some car rails, and stuff like that. Maby throw in some more taxi stunts? I dunno, just ideas

Editing: 7/10 The quality wasn't the best, the synching was pretty good, but it had it's downsides too... try working on it for the next one!

Music: 9/10 This is a really great song for stuntvids, but I did like it better when Tackleberry used it, mainly because his editing was better... oh well, gj anyhow! :P

Overall: 8/10 A good car stunt vid, but it lacked something. I don't know if it was variety, editing, or whatever. But very nice roofs and such, keep up the good work!! (if you want any help or just hints on car railing, hit me up on MSN) :grin:

You guys are right about the stunts lacking a bit on the variety side, I wanted to do some grinds and stuff but I dedicated most of the time to mastering the "air brakes" technique. I also wanted to use more cars, but I always end up using mostly the Bullet, that car is like a NRG with 4 wheels.

I'll try to improve variety in NITRO 3. Yes, there might be a 3rd episode if I can get enough stunts. I'm running out of new spots but San Andreas is so big that I'm sure I'll dig up something.
