Title: Winter Chronicles: The Remake

Very happy to finally drop this here. Last summer we stunted for a remake of Winter Chronicles and then we sort of forgot about it until I started editing it 2 days ago, which is 7 months after we landed the final stunt of the project :lol:
I tried to mimic Herr-Davs editing and angles as best I could; felt like I would also pay homage to that part of the original video.

Anyway, a whole summer, fall and winter have passed since stunting for this but on the first day of spring we proudly present Winter Chronicles: The Remake. Enjoy!

I liked Hedgehog's first part finisher landing, Fighter's VC grind 2csm2 grind prec and many executions where stylish. Nice battery of stunts for a short period of time. Personally I didnt like the camera work, I think it could be better, more angles/distance variety and smoothness maybe, tho all stunts are understandable and that's what's important, and editing makes me think of 2010 :P

Post by: Dannye on March 30, 2025, 05:44:36 AM: I didn't recall the original so after watching this new one I then went and played them both side-by-side and man that was some damn fine recreation work guys, impressive! Fascinating to see such a strong correlation on all aspects with the stunts, camerawork and editing. Right down to that tool-shop grind getting caught up at the exact same spot on the ledge! I can't imagine it was easy to redo these stunts, with so many big-air ones in there, so really well done there everyone - and seeing that this edit itself was also done in such a short time is also quite the feat, hats off! And as a couple quick random asides - I very much liked the look of the fire on puzzle's junkyard packer bump, and the framing on the composite-angle to show those shared zen-garden taxi landings. Great stuff all!

I used to do this with Barneys Unorhodox and Darkstar remake of it. This is how you remake videos, by doing exactly the same edit and vibe. Good job guys, loved the original and this :euro:
