Title: Oh Snow! - Christmas Community Video '24 | III/VC/SA/IV/V

Friends,

It has been another trip of an editing process with this one. It started off as an idea for a small, time-limited Vice City video that I was supposed to edit myself, and Darkstar would take care of the graphics and whatnot.
Then we figured why not make it a VC+SA video. Then we added V. Then we added IV. Then we added III. In the meantime we also cooked up the Advent of GTAStunting event...

Long story short, we definitely took it way past our initial idea as we got so many submissions from so many people in so many games to the point where it went from a one-parter to a two-parter but when it turned out it was gonna be a three-parter, Darkstar had to step in to help me edit the video. And even then we ended up with 4 parts.

Therein also lies the beauty of this community as small as it can feel sometimes, and being able to put all of those faces from all of those games into one big video for the Holidays is nothing more than rewarding and we hope you guys feel just as grateful to part of GTAStunting as we do.
 
An incredibly big shoutout to Sasha Dotterkletch for his animation work and many brainstorming sessions on the intro, Shadow for organizing the V side of things and recording angles for every V submission he got, Max for doing the intermission script and Rainbow for getting us through another round of selecting replays.

We hope you all have/had an amazing Christmas time and we wish you a happy and healthy New Year in advance.

Nice! Conatus stunts in GTA 3 is very hard. Puzzle made old on Infernus, but other execution. (I hit 2 pedestrians in this spot in Ultimatum 2. but i not touch wall). Also not glad see some old stunts in community video...

Incredible video, i absolutely loved the fact that all stunt-worthy releases of the game were included in this video, probably the best community vid ive seen here if i were to be honest, these new guys (and some old ones) stunting in IV and V are really kicking it! For the first time i was more excited about the new games stunts than the older, finally feels like the torch is being passed over.

The editing was simple yet the soundtrack delivered the vibes perfectly, great song selection imo

9.5/10 just because i wasnt in  :euro:

Thanks to puzzle, darkstar, shadow, and everyone who contributed to this. Let me see 4 versions of the game in one video. It feels like we are actually a big family from gtastunting. It feels like this is a kind of inheritance. When I saw my stunts, I felt that I was outdated. Haha. However, I will still insist on continuing to output in VC. Tribute to the classics.

In terms of stunts, everyone performed well.

The first collab I participated in was Christmas 2008. I still remember to this day the feeling I had when I saw my stunt (albeit a bad one) in a public collab for the first time. Now, in 2024, you present us with the best Christmas video ever made. It feels like being 15 years old again :D One of the best community projects ever produced! The fact that we managed to bring all the games together in one video was brilliant. I hope that this integration between VC/SA and V stunters continues and that we can make GTA VI the game for all stunters united and that we can get more people to know GTAStunting.net and all the history it has. Thank you very much for all the hard work.

Thanks so much for including my stunt, this is the first time I've been in a community video (of this magnitude) since I joined so I'm glad I could be a part of it.
Nice stunts from all the engines, but the SA guys were my favorite, that double squalo grind was a great idea, nice mad!
The songs weren't my favorite but I don't hate them.
I liked the Christmas interface throughout the video, it reminds me of an old SA Xmas collab

It's nice to see a video jam packed with stunts. I have absolutely zero x-mas spirit, but I still love to see all the unique touches put into this. Combining all the game engines into one video provided the perfect amount of variety. As far as my favorite stunts, I'm gonna sound like a broken record and praise every grind in the video. Gotta love seeing sparks in SA replays. Also the boat, plane and helicopter stunts across all games were cool to see.

It was nice to see all the games mixed together.. and of course all of the names again. :happy:
My favorite stunts were darkstar's prec in IV and plani's freeway grind.

What an awesome video! The Christmas vibe is spot on, and the stunts are absolutely incredible. It’s amazing to see that this community is still alive after all these years, even if it’s just through a stunting video. Massive respect to everyone who keeps this scene going and inspires others to keep pushing forward. Big shoutout to Darkstar, Puzzle, and Shadow for the fantastic editing – you guys absolutely nailed it!

It's been 15 years since I was last involved in a GTA Stunting video and I couldn't be happier to have had an opportunity to feature in such a sick project.

Combining all of those games was a recipe for disaster and yet...you guys made it work. Tasteful effects and transitions were complimented by a good selection of music, would have been so easy to stick in some of metal covers of Christmas classics but this was just so much better. However, all of that paled in comparison to the insanely well executed introduction and intermission...fucking brilliant, had me beaming ear to ear like a bloody idiot.

Stunts were great throughout, loved seeing GTA 3 stuff and learning a bit more about V as a new viewer to that game. Here are a few of the standouts for me:


Huge shoutout to Darkstar, Puzzle & Shadow for making this happen. Looking forward to seeing what 2025 has in store for GTAS, happy new year everyone.

I'm thrilled to be part of this major project; the intro is sick omg.
I'm amazed by the novelty of many of the special stunts. Condensing various generations of GTA into one video is highly meaningful, especially since GTA V has always been presented separately from Vice City and San Andreas. This time, we finally have the opportunity to see stunts from different GTA together.  ;D

Props to everyone involved, considering this is a huge project, with 5 different game engines (3 maps in VC's case) and tons of stunters. Intro is awesome, laughed my ass off when I saw the V stunters started doing the flying bike bug. First time I saw it I felt uncomfortable with the xmas aesthetic but then I got used to it lol. You guys even managed to get snow in LC and SAiVC, oh and SA bike is sweet

Again, its crazy and weird (in a good way) to see the 5 game engines and stunters together in a single video

wviMis's VC construction double and 90 degree grind, Conatus's III rhino Infernus bump, Smut's LC Infernus grind, Maiikool's IV heli propeller destruction grind, Hedgehog's FBI bump, Enough's VC double grind and many more where my personal favorites ;D

Good job lads. Sadly i didn't land anything for this due focusing on unannounced projects.

VC and SA stunts have some good standouts, but i think V stunts killed it for this one. Great combination of grinds, precs and bigairs.

Just seen this now with 0 xmas vibes but who cares! I might be wrong but I have never seen a community project bigger than this, which bridges all stunting-relevant versions of GTA, it was fantastic. This video surely isn't about the stunting quality, it's about getting together and celebrate (stunting). I'm glad so many members joined across all parts of GTA, I wish I could take part in this. I always loved xmas videos, they have that special touch for me, so I'm happy to see one again. Hopefully see you all next this year as well!

Well better late than never. I could never ever imagine that a stunt video with so many different games could turn out so great and watchable. I always cringed when I saw VC and SA mixed in a single video, but this just wasnt the case. Loved the song selection, fit really well without feeling too gimmicky. And that intro was just something else, I think this was the first time since Neo and Kanedas themed videos, that I actually laughed in real life from a gta vid :D This video and the advent challenges made the stunting scene feel more alive than ever, so shout out for Darkstar and Puzzle for putting all this together, gj dudes  :cc_detective:
