Might be possible, but I think it would be better to land on the far rail, instead of the close one. Cause dosnt the close one just run into the cement part of the bridge?

I tried that on ps2, it's better to aim for the rail further away, like Mr. Fox said. More to grind and more space. I got close on ps2, but haven't really tried since then.
