For me Dirt died on it's third entrance.

This more of a sim than an arcade game like Dirt 1-2-3. I never played Richard Burns Rally (RBR) but a lot of people feel it's more of a sequel to that rather than to the Dirt series. And RBR is probably the most beloved rally game out there. In Dirt 3 I rarely crashed while pushing hard but this game is no walk in the park. If I had little sleep like today for example I cannot even drive a semi worthy time. Dirt 3 can be played with your toes and you still win on moderate difficulty.

Well, i can't deny that. The game is easy, i just enjoyed it a lot

Oh misunderstood then. I rarely associate 'died' with 'enjoyed' :P

I really enjoyed Dirt 1, but hated the installments that came out after McRae died. How similar to the first is this one? Also I wish my PC could handle it :/

If I had to compare it to one of the three it's Dirt 1 because of the hillclimb stuff :P In terms of actual gameplay it is none of the three and more like RBR or CMR 4-5.
