Title: New track aye
Post by: Ltab- on August 18, 2015, 05:07:23 PM
So yeah, after 6 months I released a new track (fucking finally). This one's a remix I wanted to submit to a competition but I couldn't finish it in time, I tried out some new techniques in the track too. Let me know what you think! :Disgusted:

Nice track! :D  wit software you use?  I begin and can't even understand how cubase works atm.
I guess that i have to get some  other program n' dj controler or smthng, but it's possible to get some samples included or from web. Right?

First of all decide what you like the most, DJing or producing?
If you're more into producing, put all your effort into that. Cubase it's a nice DAW, kinda complicated regarding some functions but you'll get used to it if you practice enough (youtube tutorials are the best way to go)
If by samples you mean sample packs (drums, effects, vocals, etc) yes you can find tons of them on the web, there are some free ones which are totally amazing so don't go all the way into pirating :P
Invest some money in your computer if needed, invest in sound equipment (if you don't have a treated room go for a pair of good studio headphones, open back type. If you have the money to buy speakers and treat your room acoustically, go for it for sure. It's all about your budget)

If you're more into DJing, get a controller (Pioneer DDJ-SB for example, or DDJ-WeGo) and practice everyday. You can learn how to produce while learning how to DJ but it'll take you longer to learn both if you don't have too much free time.

Btw glad you like the track :)
