Features:
* A SA stunt vid with a variety of vehicles, yes including taxi's.
* A movie-style intro (like i did in one of my earlier vids 'float on by'), I'll let you work out what it is this time.
* Oh yeah, and watch the credits for a new type of taxi stunt (i think), anyone remember that 'little red button' scene from MIB... ;)

DUde, i really enjoyed this vid, some stunts were old or not too hard, but overall you've pulled all the styles dude, only thing i missed were planestunts.
Still, VERY cool vid dude, 8/10 Rock on :grin:

Awesome vid.
Stunts: I love your originality dude, thats what i like most about your stunting, No-one would think of those Taxi stunts, bumping the big ball on the crane or even a bump IN a car to a BB, but you of course.
There was a couple old stunts, and kinda quirky ones, but mainly great stunts dude. 9/10.
Editing:I kinda liked the intro, it was a great idea, but it seemed a bit odd, but if it was an audio clip from a film/tv series then you put that together well. There was some synching but not enough for my liking :P but the editing was mainly good, shame about the quality. 7.5/10.
Music: You always use such un-used music which is cool in your vids and its nothing to heavy and its relaxing almost which is good. 8/10.
Overall I really enjoyed your SA debut dude. 8.2/10.

That was awesome, a bunch of neat stunts, just a few fillers though, editing seemed good to me, but the vid seemed a bit dark, and it was blurry a bit. I didn't get the intro, cause I haven't seen that movie, but it seemed nice. Those last taxi stunts in the creds were :o just like in MIB, hehe, very awesome.

Stunts, 8.99/10
Editing, 8/10 try to use less transitions and more special effects
Music, 7/10 wasn't much, but don't take any notice of peoples ratings for music because usually it is purely opinion and you may not be doing anything wrong.
Overall, 7.99/10 that is a very very good score, might aswell call it 8/10 it is was fucking hell of a video but if you compare it to the top videos that were rate 9/10 your point of view towards other videos is changed. <_<

A great SA debut man worth the wait for sure. The variety made sure no stunt got tired and youve transfered your god status at VC cabbing to SA. The intro audio sorta didnt fit but it was unique so cool and some nice credits content. The editing was all fine and some really creative stunts and good new spots. A vid that is definitely a keeper that all people should get. Two thumbs up man really cool.
But a couple of things....
That LV wallride :(:(:( i had it done awhile ago...oh well....mine was higher (i hit candy on the tit) :P so a little consolation
The cab stunt and the pipe in LV cant be done cos a packer cannot get there normally

A packer can get there in that plant thing, I'm pretty sure. You just have to jump that gate (put packer near gate, and use the cabbie boost to get more height, then go to the gate and it will open, and then bring the packer in) and then you can go around the building. I'm not sure cause I'm just using memory, and I might be missing something.

It's a program that makes the game go slower or faster, it was used for the intro. (i hope ya didn't use it for the stunts, but i don't think ya did)

Definately a stand-out SA vid this one. The cab stunts were great, and make me believe that SA cab stunting isn't all bad. There were some great ideas and some very creative stuff done in a wide range of vehicles (a firetruck grind? What the hell were ya thinking?).
Editing was nice and the song choices were as good as they've always been in your vids.
This vid is a true sign that you're a stunter who, above everything else, is doing it for the pure joy. Great work.

WOW ! Some amazing comments so far, thanks heaps people. I am glad to see you all enjoyed it. And I very much appreciate all the comments, i just wish i could've posted sooner, cause there have been so many. Here are some reply's:
Yoda: Yeah I know, I had some plane stunts in mind, but I kept putting them off to work on my other stunts, and hence never got aroung to doing them :P .
Omni (and others): I realise that the movie intro was probably not the best idea for a stunt video, but Im really bad at coming up with intro's otherwise ;). Anyway, yes, the voice over was straight out of the movie (notice that he says "his real talent lies in ...' - in the movie it says CARDS, but i tried to make it sound like CARS, geddit (lol, i know its kinda lame).
Brainkiller: I gave it that description incase there were some ppl who just looked at the tga download page (where it only shows the first bit of the description), so having the word 'awesome' as the first word, would hopefully get more downloads :D . That speed editor was a little program done by Marklund, i used it just for the intro jump bit.
Kr3m: I am so dissapointed that my wallride was old, I seriously had no idea. :( I was so happy when i did it, i actually remember thinking that you would really like it. Ohwell. What vid was it in of yours, i really wanna see it. About the packer, i must admit, when i did the stunt, i just spawned the packer in there, assuming that it COULD be done normally (like finallight said), altough i never actually tested to see if ya could though.
Sweet: According to the stats that came up when I did it: 226ft. My original plan was to land in/on the actual thing, but seeing as it curved outwards towards the top, that kinda ruined that idea, but nevertheless i was happy with the stunt.
Kaneda: Yeah that was my plan, to show that taxi stunting in SA is certainly possible (albeit alot harder and less cool than in VC :P ). Yeah I loved that firetruck grind, it only just made the vid too, it was the last stunt i did before editing it. Its funny, i kinda like some of my credit stunts more than some of my main ones, lol.
Overall: Thanks to everyone who liked the variety (I did work hard to get a good variety, and I'm glad to see that I definately acheived that), the taxi stunts (they're not as easy as VC but they're still possible), and the credit stunts (i came up with that MiB style 'roof run' totally by accident while trying to just do a lame taxi grind in that tunnel :P ).

I didnt even think that it could be a record, it didnt even occur to me, which now i think about it is quite odd considering how many times i went for the taxi height record in VC. When i was doing the stunt i was so happy when i finally got it that i didnt think to save a screenshot until after the stats had gone away, hence the only proof i got is the rep and a screenshot of the brief screen taken straight after, which i will certainly understand if you guys dont think its proof enough. Ofcourse i could probably just go do it again if i can be bothered :) . What is the current car height record anyway?

Awesome vid. The taxi stunts were great. Would've loved to see some of your plane stunts. Probably some awesome stuff there. If you wanted to be in a crew we'd like to have you in WH, but if you feel solo's are better for you that's cool. Pretty sure Taclite would accept you...

great vid. a lot of unique stuff here. some old bike stunts, but the uniqueness and pwnage of the other stunts more than made up for it. :) and i must say, either your aim is a lot better than mine or you have a lot more patience, because i always get frustrated when trying to do taxi wallclimbs off a packer because i hit the struts on the packer 9 out of 10 times. ugh. the taxi ceiling rides during the end credits blew me away. :o

Yay someone who shares my pain :P Yeah those struts can get BLOODY annoying when doing taxi stunts (or any car stunts), and they did, at times. How annoying is it when you stuff your line up and hit the strut, you not only stuff that attmept but also ruin the positioning of the packer... (bad memories :D ). There was one that i had heaps of trouble with and never ended up even doing, it was supposed to be a wall climb, but i just kept hitting the sides, and also it was in a spot where the tram would come along and ram straight through it every now and then too, my patience didnt last long with that stunt ;) . Anyway, thanks heaps for the comments!

Dannye i hadnt released it, but it was very close to release so you got the spot out properly first
@finallight: the packer can into that compound but not to the side where the stunt was performed, no room anywhere to drive it through to there
Oh and the struts aint toooo bad, im so used to trying to hit them that i welcome the challenge of car stunts :P

Yeah, I just checked and there's not enough room to get a packer through to the back, that sucks.

@finallight: Oh well. I guess that rules out the possibility of getting a wr height then. Its okay though, i know another spot where i can climb something about the same height... ;)
@Kr3m: Ah okay then. I wanted to go higher on mine, but since my main goal was mainly to hit her anywhere and land on the roof, when i finally got it right (probably took longer than it should've, :P ) i didnt keep trying. If only it were possible to go so high you could go over/or hit-and-somehow-land-on her head, now that'd be cool. I shoudl've guessed you'd find that spot, you wallriding king :D .

I'm not sure, there may be a cheat that enables it, or a trainer that can unlock it, i dont know. Its only 50 fares in SA by the way (unlike 100 in VC), one of the first things i did when i started playing SA was go out and unlock taxi boost :P . Anyway, another optioln would be just to download one of those 100% complete save games, as they would obviously have them unlocked.

I just noticed this thread and dled right away. All of the above man. It was an awesome vid, you didn't lie :lol: I was very entertained the whole time and the boat slide on the roof with you walkin literally made me LOL :D The car to bb, the boat stunts, the bike stunts, ..etc....Everything.I'm keeping this to watch before i stunt. Its definitely got a feel good vibe to it. Thx :grin:

I was thinking of making a tutorial-kinda thread for SA cab stunting, what do you think?
I could post what i have found out so far, eg: different types of stunts, and how to do them, tips (eg. which type of cab to use for which stunt, best way to do..., whats better for...) good spots for practice etc etc etc, and perhaps maybe make a tut vid (if i can be bothered :P ). And then also everyone else can post what they have found etc, and hence it could become a handy thread for introducing taxi stunting to SA. Good idea?

the downside to this is that taxi/cabbie stunting isn't as prolific as it is in VC, and thus if everyone quickly finds all the spots and learns how to use them then it obviously won't last long. in the next XSA vid i have a taxi stunt that is an "SA first", and i know of a handful of places it can be done. after seeing it i imagine people will eventually figure out all the spots to do it if they haven't already. but if i point out all the spots to help people learn how to do better wallclimbs in SA then all the spots will be used up pretty quick. so, i don't know, there are postives and negatives on both sides.

Good point, good point. I'm just so sad it isnt as cool/easy as it is in VC (goes off to cry in corner :D ). I would like to think that if more ppl would get good at them, we would find more ways/tips/methods for doing them better (hence they would be easier and we could find lots more spots) and then it would be okay, but ofcourse that may just be fools hope. Ofcourse I'm not sure if it would acheive anything not doing it, cause if anyone really wanted to be good at cab stunting in SA, they could just put the effort in like i did and get the hang of it. Anyway, I'll think about it then, see what others think...
Nevertheless, I cant wait to see your new cab stunt! XSA :grin:

@human.abattoir = wow someone actually liked my intro :o , i didnt see that coming :P . I thought it was a good idea at the time (lol, who hasnt heard that line before), but now i think about it, i probably shouldve chosen a more well known movie (from some of the comments i'm pretty sure ppl didnt recognize the movie - although some of that was prob my fault :P , i couldve made it more recognizable but i wanted to keep the intro really short, so i had to cut some important bits out.
And for those who wanted some info on the taxi stunts, i will create a breif tut on them for DC to add to his SA stunting guide thread, so keep watching that for updates.
EDIT: Just noticed i created a new page, yay.

I just d/l and watched and great vid dannye. Intro, dunno, stunts, 1 or 2 great fillers :P the rest were all great stunts, outro, excellent, loved the stunts in the outro and it didnt use half of the vids time, yay: overall: 8.4/10 g/j
