I'm a little sad not to see the second grind nailed as well, but it might well be impossible due to the angle. Playboyz on the other hand went with a monster dynamics stunt, which is an unexpected interpretation but it has worked well. The spin was nice and the landing was not extremely interesting but clean.

My vote goes to chiler, for making a stunt with a heavy vehicle such as a monster truck appear as smooth as if he'd used an Infernus. And in general the spot was a very nice find. Playboyz achieved the same effect, but resorting to a method that requires nothing but waiting for the proper landing. It does require patience but not really vision.

His stunt had more of an idea to it, while Playboyz stunt was a bit more random. While I can understand that monster dynamics can look great, I think it's a bit of an easy escape considering the challenge.

You still have a chance at the loser brackets so its not like its over for you and maybe well have a rematch there or so :)

playboyz - Classic approach. It looks kinda lazy but it's not an easy stunt. Also had great rotation and landing.

Final vote - Goes to playboyz, if chiler had spent more time on the looks he would've gotten the vote.

playboyz, your stunt wasn't really creative, the spot itself looked kinda random, too. but i really liked the spins and the clean, not-so-easy landing.

it's a really close one, but playboyz gets my vote. if chiler had executed it better or even grinded the secon grind, he woul've won that one 100%.hmm, looks like shifftee has to decide that one.

So, Chiler your idea was better but execution of the stunt(the grind) was really bad and you didn't do the double grind(which shouldn't have been so hard to do). Good spot, sloppy execution.
Playboyz, your stunt was a bit more random but the obvious choice for a challenge like this. Would've loved to see the precision landed but it's still hard to do as it is(the landing at least).

This is a though one but I'm going with Playboyz. Congratulations! You're through to the next round! Always wanted to say that. :cc_detective:

A stunt is more than just an execution. The entire vision is important too. And your method was the "easy way out", as it didn't require you to put any thought in the spot, just retry it until you land it. And the spot you decided to go with is not as interesting as some monster dynamic stunts I seen in the past. That's (likely) why Simon and I voted for chiler.

But the stunts were on par with each other, considering the execution chiler had. So I did expect a tight end result in the votes.

P.S. Editing your post to conceal your outburst does not make you cool. Just my 0.02$.

Personally I think that's bullshit :| A monster dynamic stunt requires no thought, no skill and a nice execution has nothing to do with the stunter other than picking and choosing what landing to submit. Literally any other stunt would be better to submit in my eyes, no matter the execution, at least it showed thought and effort. And it really pisses me off that you somehow think you're automatically better because you're execution of a stunt you had no control over is more impressive than the execution of an idea that might have been harder than it looked or something he just didn't have the time to perfect. His at least had some complexity to it, while yours only need the press of one button at the time, I could literally have landed your stunt with my dick.
