Hey 4 months ago I bought new PC equipment.
Games like GTA SA ran smooth with 100+ FPS on highest settings, League of Legends had constant 60 FPS on highest settings.
Now since a few weeks I can run GTA SA on low settings with around 60 FPS, on highest settings it has 10-40 FPS. LoL runs with around 40 FPS on highest settings now and has drops when many players are around.
I already installed the newest driver for my graphics card and I don't have alot knowledge about computers, that's why I come here to ask for possible help.
If anyone is able to solve this problem with me it would be highly appreaciated!

what does cleo have to do in anyway with performance drops in other games
as MxZz said we'd need your specs to help solve it.

Could be an overheating issue. Download HWMonitor / CPUTemp or similar and post your temperatures. Also make a check inside your PC that anything isn't badly seated. For example I incorrectly seated my CPU cooler and had these low fps / fps spike problems. :ajaja: If this turns out to be the problem, buy a bigger heatsink or thermal paste instead of using the CPU's own stock cooler, it can actually crack up pretty easily.
Also there could be a possibility your hardware isn't getting the required voltage. Take a look if your power supply actually offers the amount that is needed. :ajaja: Similar issue could be that your GPU is bottlenecking CPU or vice versa.
Post your PC specifications here. Helps a lot :jajaja:
It's pretty rare that any of these problems are software-based, but there is a possibility. Do a virus scan, CCleaner, check your task manager during gaming for disruptive process etc.

8GB RAM
NVidia Geforce GTX 760
CPU Temp: 27°C (81°F)
I hope it has nothing to do with the graphics card but I haven't enough knowledge.

I think you posted the idle temp. Go in a game, play until it starts lagging and tell the temps. Also you didn't tell the GPU temp (under load)
Any of the temps really shouldnt go over 80C.

run a system restore and see what happens, worth a shot.

I got this problem aswell.

Have you got any soft running in the background?
