Title: Backward Stoppie 2 Bump(2 Roof)
Post by: Xtramus on August 29, 2005, 09:34:52 AM
I bet noone has ever done this before.

"Just" do a backward stoppie and hit a bump, and try to get on a roof if possible. That'd be awsome to see.

ok, first you need a spot, hard to find since as soon as you hit the flat you stop stoppieing. Then you need enough speed while stoppieing, which isn't the quickest stunt. Then you need to hit a roof...

I'd say this was impossible on an NRG, and damn hard on a bike.

Well, I dunno, but if it would be possible, it would kick ass. I hope someone can pull it off..

Of course it's possible, I've got the perfect spot for one too.

A bump requires an angle at which the front wheel only just hits the bump, and the back wheel does the actual bump. This probably wouldn't work as a stoppie, but maybe if you bunnyhopped, just before the bump, maybe, just maybe, it would be possible.
*scratches chin*
XD

I was being serious. If you think about it, it's possible.

nrg can't do it, too heavy for the speed, mtb i maybe possible, bmx is surely possible i think, cause it can go bw with high speed, wit hmtb you crash when you go to fast.

Well, i'm gonna try it.

Yeah, it works in theory, that's what I figured out already :P I just wanted to know if someone could pull it off

Works in theory. Im gonna give it a few runs if i can find a spot..and probably a low roof...but my feeling is that the speed wont be high enough to get any sort of air

@EDIT:Comaboy(srry:P): I know it would be damn hard... that's why it's in challenges :P
@finallight: Ok :D

impssible :P just impossible  :P
i have done very mutch mountain bike roof/bumps and thing and tried this too before but you cant do it you cant hit the bump right. and if you wanna hit a roof it cant be a high one but just a 15/10 ft building.

Imposiible eh? what about if you put the manual aim cheat on so when you are on a motorbike or bicycle you cannot fall off this will alow you to hit a high speed while going backwards.

Cheating sucks if you do a stunt might as well do it right else it's not the same :nono:

[span style=\'color:orange\']I[/span] [span style=\'color:blue\']agree it does suck but [/span][span style=\'color:green\']it is still [/span][span style=\'color:red\']possible..atleast i think it is anyway[/span].

i get close to doing it on bmx (i hold bunny hop button while goin backwards which helps get more speed and not fall off )
but  i always spin when i bump  :(

why dont we try it with the manual aim cheat on so to make sure its possible with lots of speed cause if it still isnt possible with the cheat on, its just not possible

with cheats is everything possible. but you cant use cheat couse then it isnt the challenge. with the cjphonehome cheat you can do it too then :P

Everyone who conciders to use a cheat for a challenge or vid must go to afghanistan and fly his camel in a palmtree.

This'll probably come down to being one of the many 'good in theory' stunts. On a powered bike, it'd be so ludicrously difficult that anyone who's of sound mind would just give it a miss completely.

On a bicycle...it should be possible. But to get a backward stoppie going in the first place, you can't be going very fast. Also, when you lean into a bunny, you lose even more speed. Then you'd have to time the bump, which would be difficult with a reverse angle. Get all that right, and even then you'd be lucky to get 20ft...if anything.

I think it'd just be too much of a pain to do. Be nice to see once though.

Bit of a stress test instead of a challenge, I guess :P
