What u think about this?
+: accseleration boost + opportunity for hard bumps
-: imposs -> poss
Sorry for topic,Maybe worth to add it to the topic Tips and tricks, but i really do not know whether it can be applied or not

I think as long as the stunt is possible without it, it shouldn't be used, but I don't mind seeing it used in the run-up to have a little extra chance of avoiding traffic and static objects but to use it right before a bump would be really lame.
Mind if I add a poll with some options? I'd like to see peoples take on this :)

There will be no way to even ban this because I have a feeling there will be a lot of outsiders stunting in GTA:V.

voting is good idea,I myself would like to add it, but do not have this capability

I agree with Daffy, imo slo mo opens a lot more possibilities because you can get longer runups by turning sharp corners and it's great for dodging traffic, but using it to bump or grind is kinda lame unless it's imposs without it.
Also I'm not convinced that it gives a speed boost yet, needs more testing and evidence.

Some stunts are impossible without it (short sharp runups that require extension, glitched grind rails, and more), but I don't think it's lame if it's used carefully. It can even make a stunt look better if you use it nicely. While we're on consoles and can't load back to the beginning of our runups without waiting for a 20 second loading screen, I think it's okay in moderation :ajaja:.
Also, slow mo doesn't give you an acceleration boost. In fact, if you keep slow mo on while doing a ramp, you wont get as much height, because you'll have too much traction on the ground.

slowmo sucks and looks ugly but shouldn't be considered as modding imo
-
For me it's okay to use during run ups, opens up a lot of more spots which don't have such a great run up. But don't use it for the bumping or landing. That would look horrible and would be kind of cheap.
-
I wish the slow mo didn't exist, it's gonna be heavily used among non-gtas people and folks like tacojoe.
-
Just don't use it for bumping, that's all. We should not be restricting possibilities a few days after release. :cc_detective:

You should still use it for bumping if the stunt requires it (tight runup angles), or if the traffic is absolutely horrendous. I've just landed a bump combo to a 6x grind, and I had to land it with the slow motion ability. The runup started on a roof, and required me to load a quick save every single try for about 20 seconds each time. Despite this, it still took hours to land because the rails are buggy . In situations like these, I think it's narrow minded to call slow motion "lame" or "cheap".
Once GTA V comes out for the PC and we have trainers for saving, loading, spawning vehicles, godmode and no traffic, I'm sure we'll all be less reliant on the ability. But you shouldn't prevent yourself from trying hard stunts that require slow motion on consoles just because some people dislike the way it looks.

I am typing on my phone so I am not being very in dept in my posts, but my main point was use common sense. If the stunt is easy just don't use it. And Paul, you better release this solo or I will find you.

I've hated the feature from the moment I saw it, I wish it wasn't in the game...
I hope it slows down the replays too when the PC version comes!

I haven't played GTA V much yet, but since it is a built in in-game feature, I guess it should be valid and allowed for stunting. Stunters should use common sense and not abuse it for tricky precision landings or grinds. I think making sharp curves during run-ups is just fine, since some stunts might be impossible without. Limiting it all for the run-ups seems like a fair deal, but anything after the ramp/bump/whatever should be done without imo.
