Title: Dual monitors, different wallpapers.
Post by: A maid on June 19, 2013, 09:00:23 AM
So I just got my second monitor, installed it and everything works fine.

Only thing I'm wondering is if there's a software that allows me to use two different backgrounds on each monitor but with the same options as Windows has (which would be
auto-changing backgrounds, things like tiling/stretching and of course the changing times).

Basically, I don't mind if I do it with or without software, but I'm looking for something that'll at least auto-change the backgrounds with profiles/presets similar to Windows has.
Does any of you who use multiple monitors know of a way to do this?

DisplayFusion

DisplayFusion
That's what I'm using now as a temporary solution but it requires me to manually do things. Since I'm a lazy ass, the thing I want most is auto-changing times though I can cope with
having to change it every once in a while myself.

Thanks, will give this a shot.

Also, can I change which monitor to use when playing games? Playing games on the left one is really uncomfortable since it's the furthest one away.

Ì guess thats soemthing you find by the configuration settings and then select the monitor (number 1).

If I change my primary monitor, everything'll be switched (the current primary one is the one on the right) and fucked.

E: So I fuck around with the monitors order and I just can't get this to work properly. I set it up like 1 - 2 and the mouse just moves over from one monitor to the other by the outsides.

If I set it up like 2-1 and set 2 to my primary monitor everything works fine, including games but then VC just refuses to run.

Tried doing that with 3D Analyze and all it does is crash. Eh no matter, I'm just going with getting used to playing on my left monitor..

Put the other one as main one and launch your game. I think that's the only working thing to do. Except if the game itself can switch between the monitors.

It's a hassle to keep switching primary monitors just to play a game. I'm sticking to getting used to it..

Except that I can't get it to be windowed.
