Title: New Laptop
Post by: Max_ on April 12, 2013, 08:04:57 AM
Since my pc is pissing me off for a long time, it now totally gave up his ghost.
I have to start it like 20 times untill it runs properly, and have to hope then that it wont hang-up after a few minutes.
So in short words: I'm searching for an new laptop.
I don't know shit about computer specifics and all that stuff, but I just want to run games properly on it (like far cry 3 on highest quality.. my pc cant even handle it on lowest quality without lags)
So it would be cool if someone could recommend me something :cc_detective:

If you want to play on high I think you should get a desktop tbh.
Better power for the money

You can get a super high-end deskstop for the price of an average laptop.... desktops component are MUCH cheaper especially if you'll assemble the PC your own.

Well, I'll have an desktop pc from my sister. But that will be an Apple, and so far I know I can't play any game I have on an apple device.
That's why I'm searching for an laptop too, I can do all the buisness stuff on that apple pc.. But can't play games on it. And im going to america in summer for 3 months and would like to have an laptop there too.
So I actually only need it for gaming because all the other stuff I can do on the Mac.

Imo you should aim this: i3/i5 cpu,4-8 gb of ram, but in GPUs i'm totally wasted on laptopland, so i can't really tell you anything halpful about that :cc_detective:

The money doesn't matter yet.

Maybe you guys can show me some laptop models or recommend me some companies that makes good quality laptops. Maybe some of you have some experiences to share

Best site to check out if you're going for a somewhat unlimited budget.
