Use a savegame with 100 % completion! You can't use dannyes then though as far as I know.

you need only to get to that import/export mission in SF, i think.

but yeah, grescha is right you only need to have a 100% savegame.

I got Dannye to make me a special version of his MAIN.SCM that includes a mission selector, I'll see if I can find there as there's a mission or something that lets you control the crane.
