So basically whenever I try import a alpha into txd workshop it doesn't work, it just replaces the "image" image instead of the "alpha" one.
Any help?
Cheers!

You probably didn't enable the alpha channel in the options. If I recall correctly it also doesn't allow all picture formats and bits, can't tell which though as I haven't skinned in ages.

Check if you even imported it at the alpha tab. Also make sure, as Rusch said, you checked the alpha channel in the options/properties and also fill in the appropriate name of the body map part. Lastly, make sure you saved it as a 16 bit .bmp from paint which always ensures a working alpha. If it then doesn't work, you're fucked.

Ah, 16 bit. Lets try that.

NOPE. Still replaces the image instead of the alpha even when I have the alpha selected at the bottom.

Happened to me also, try this.
- Save the image as .PNG format.
- Save the alpha as .BMP, 24bits
- Open the alpha with Paint, and save it as 24bits again.
Then, replace them. Replace the image first, then replace the alpha.
It worked for me.

i think im the only one who is doing the alpha stuff (opacity or cuts) in ps/gimp, then just simply save it as .png, check alpha in txdworkshop and simply import it

Untick compression or wha, also make sure you're putting a 128, 256 and next resolutions multiplied with those numbers...

I eventually got it working but what I had to do was revert back to an earlier version 4.5 instead of the latest version which is 5.
Thanks for your help though guys!
